I absolutely disagree with the final statement of this doc. He does not deserve to be recognized as one of the world's most evil killers. Think about the history of man, and tell me that this story holds any kind of candle to the thousands of other cases that have happened where people weren't insane and committed unspeakable atrocities against their fellow man. This guy was not evil in that sense at all. He was crazy, but not that evil if you compare him to the broad spectrum. Just my thoughts.

@jat6547 There is some innocence in some in every faith. The innocence who seeks truth instead of what they need or ben told to believe or ELSE. So, yes you are correct. Why I knew I was wrong in choosing this faith/religion. It was the story I thought was true. I was looking for truth, not a story to believe in. Why it was so easy to leave. Truth always wins over a story every time.

@jat6547 That sounds nice, but I tried that. Speak of being deceived. That's what Christianity does, it deceives people with a nice, pretty story and that's all I/we EVER get. A story. To me, the real evil in humanity is in religions/Christianity. They talk the talk, but can't and don't walk the walk. We've (humanity) has been deceived!!!
@razony

@jat6547 Speaking of being deceived. One of many things I learned with Christianity. They love to talk pretty little things. 'Jesus loves you, Jesus will answer all your prayers, Jesus will never let you down...' I'm 65 and All Christians do is talk the talk, rarely do Christians ever walk the walk. Bible verses are so empty and lame because it's all Christians do. I don't regret asking Jesus into my life way back when, but it was/is the worst thing I ever done. Completely false hope. Thank... I found the truth of everything and Jesus/Christianity is NOT IT! Hope and pray you Christians wake up.

@@bloodlustvid2503 Also a 15 year old girl went missing and Ed was in the vicinity. As well as 2 hunters that disappeared. I think that Ed confessed to the 2 killings of Mary Hogan and Bernice Worden because the evidence was in his kitchen. I do believe that he was a grave robber which would have explained the body parts but it is widely believed that he killed many more than he admitted to. (including his brother). It would be interesting to know what happened with today's technology. Many more of these questions would be answered. What a shock that must have been !!

He definitely killed his brother. He led the "help" directly to his brother's body, which, for some reason he couldn't find a few moments earlier. Henry appeared to have been struck in the head by a hammer. Ed probably waited until he was dead and then started the fire as a ruse. It was mostly about their mother. Henry broke free, and Ed was indoctrinated.

Their life is normal, they are treaten normal, they are raised normal and you stop and think how the hell did this person turn bad. But I think it happens. Many people don't realize how hard is to bring children up to become a valuable citizens in the community ! If you are not there and allow the state and other people to bring them up, you are in a danger for the local ''gangs'' to bring them up as ''belonging'' is one of the basic needs in the human ''hierarchy needs'' ....The other extreme is, if you nurture your child so much that your child become completely dependent on you that they can not function without you ( Norman Bates) or in this case Ed Gein.....This world needs to be enlighten as be careful who you are having a kids with and why you are having them and are you sure you can take care of them! We believe we are educated, smart and we know we are making a right decisions - on the contrary as the ''animal instinct'' within human beings is still operating more strong than any ever, AKA fighting for an abortion rights instead of preventing it and having a children in pointless relationships and giving them up....This is a complex case, so I would need a Seminar to decipher what I am talking about ...lol

XD He wasn't evil, He was just very very mentally sick. British people for creating majority of the English language sure like to only use the word evil"

i wouldnt say he was evil .. dangerous yes .. evil? no .. because he was insane .. he thought trees were talking to him .. he didnt do what he did out of enjoyment you even point that out .. he wasnt a sexual deviant like every other serial killer seems to share .. (go on name me a serial killer that wasnt a sexual deviant as well and didnt take pleasure in what they did) but dude was clearly out of his mind and did things with human remains that we do with animals ... the headless body strung up like a deer .. furniture and clothing made from the hides and bones.. how many snowy area hotels and lodges have antler chandeliers ? what his mother did to him was make him thing they were more human than human (ahh get it cause Rob Zombie basically stole the Gein crime scene photos for House of 1000 Corpses but yes.. she and him were above human and all other humans were evil sinning animals.. his brain was broken aaaaand dont listen to that blonde haired woman with the bad haircut .. NO ONE IS BORN EVIL that is ridiculous and in fact the evidence that James Fallen of University of California has discovered that just because you are born a sociopath, that is you have the brain architecture of a sociopathic brain that doesnt mean you will become a psychopath .. and no there is no difference in the brains of sociopaths and psychopaths .. the only difference is in their actions .. sociopaths are nonviolent .. psychopaths are violent up to and including the point of killing a living being .. whether its a small animal or a human ..

What is the deal with that area??? Dehmer did crazy crap like that as well. Wasn’t he in Wisconsin??? That guy wasn’t a “mamma’s boy,” he was a controlled oppressed robot.

Max Harington, RIP, was not only a resident, but the Mayor of Plainfield, Educator and all around good guy. What him and RHsr did for Plainfield back then makes them silent heroes. The "friends house" Was the Hills. That house still stands and is still in the Hill family. They got Ed but never got David Buckholt.. Did you think he dug them graves by himself? David was the brother in law to the "friends house". You should have asked Max who burnt the house down. ;)

Thank God for Dr. Stuart Hamilton, the Forensic Pathologist. A true expert in his field of work as a Coroner, he explains that you need a shovel and pickaxe to dig up a grave. Had he not explained what "Pop Culture" was, we'd be lost!

@@ricardoblackwood628 missed that part. But I also watched another doc that said he was at the store in town when they picked him up. So who really knows. The MGM doc with the lost tapes comes out this month. That'll be interesting. It's the first time anyone will hear his voice

I don't understand how "evil" he is claimed to be because I didn't experience it in this so-called "documentary". It just barely touched on what he actually did.

The way she says he wailed at the funeral of his mother who he adored, So didn't have the emotional control of a 30 something year old man makes me mad.. we ee not all totally brainwashed or act like every other controlled puppet under the goverment s control, obviously she us. I find her annoying. Maybe because she s like an English copper? . So with this silly comment was just the icing on the cake. I found it funny when the other blonde haired lady says their were things belonfing ro people. Saying about the fashioned body parts, its was breathtaking!! I thought that ment beautiful. Ed GIEN WAS A KNOWN RECYCLER HE DISLIKED ANY WASTE.
