Ideas for next year: There once was an old coffeepot engine who worked with two other coffeepots on what is now Thomas's Branch Line. This coffeepot was bigger than the other two and boasted about it. He was also a showoff. One day there was a large stone shipment that needed to go to Knapford harbor. The train was very long, and the big Coffeepot was told to take only a few trucks at a time, But the Big Coffeepot insisted he could take the whole lot. At first all seemed fine till he approached the harbor. His driver went to put on the breaks, but the train was too heavy. The big coffeepot ran away and charged through the harbor. The driver and fireman jumped, and big coffeepot went screaming into sea. Due to length and weight of the train the big Coffeepot was pushed far into the sea to the point that it was imposable to retrieve him, and the stone shipment was lost. They say every year on the anniversary of the accident the Big Coffeepot's ghost comes back to reenact his last run. There was an old railway in the north of Sodor that ran from Harwick to a place called Cregwir, a small mining village. There was also a branch from Drogham-y-Claghan to Ballaswein. It was run by 3 small engines. The number 1 engine was called Warrior. He was a kind engine who was very brave hence his name. One stormy night Warrior was bringing a passenger train into Harwick when he saw that the bridge over the Harwin river had been washed away by the storm. Warrior braked as hard as he could, desperate to save his passengers. While Warrior did in fact save his passengers, it cost him his life as he went over the drop off and into the river below. He was badly damaged in the fall, and he was cut up for scrap. The railway which had been struggling for years couldn't afford to repair the bridge and was forced to shut down and the other two engines were sold to a railway on the mainland. However, when the moon is full and gale winds blow in from sea old Warrior can be seen racing along his old line with darkened coaches in tow.

Another Ghost Engine, one of My characters: Marvin, the Ghost Mogul. Marvin was built in 1912 for the GWR, he was a 4300 Class Mogul locomotive, with Dark Green paint and yellow lining like other GWR locomotives. He came to the Island of Sodor one day and proved his worth. Marvin was a boastful engine, always saying he did his trains on time and on schedule. One night, during WW2, however, something would change that forever. Marvin was pulling a fast freight train through the thick fog at night, with dangerous cargo like munitions. Little did Marvin know that the viaduct on his line was bombed by German aircraft the day before. Marvin was approaching the viaduct fast, but as soon as it was in sight, all hope was lost. Marvin, and his whole train plunged into the valley below. When Marvin and his train impacted the ground, the cargo exploded, and Marvin was no more. Marvin's remains were soon found and scraped, and Marvin's friends mourned his loss, Including Harison, the GWR 5101 class, who was Marvin's best friend. It's said that Marvin's ghost still haunt's the line, all the way up to the viaduct. Marvin is now just a specter, all black and very sad. Marvin doses have connections to the other ghost's of Sodor, so if you see Marvin, chances are that the next few Nights will be quite turbulent.

Here are some ideas for ghost stories: Once upon a time, there were two mine engines who operated the Mid Sodor Railway's mines. They were twins whose names were Atlas and Alfred. The former engine was polite whereas the latter was selfish and nasty. None of the other engines, trucks and coaches really trusted him but for a mean brakevan named Andrew. Nonetheless, Alfred always refused to listen to advice and in due time caused a mine to collapse! He was damaged beyond repair and got scrapped. The Mid Sodor Railway's boss used his parts to repair his other engines. You know, the Mid Sodor Railway was infamous because of its many bad engines. There was another spiteful engine named Albert who got scrapped just before Alfred's horrific accident. Again, neither the coaches, trucks nor other engines trusted him. He also refused to listen to good advice being so self-righteous. The Mid Sodor Railway's manager had bought him to help Duke, Stuart, Falcon, Alfred and Atlas with the freight. Nonetheless the manager told him if he was good he could pull passenger trains. Albert was nevertheless very angry about having to pull trucks and banged them hard. Eventually the trucks lost patience and there was a time when Albert overshot a water tower. His driver and fireman tried to make him reverse but then the loaded slate trucks were too heavy and Albert wasn't trying. He kept going till he ran out of water but not before barking insults at Duke who he passed on a boat train. Later the latter engine had to pull him and his train to the docks because his fire tubes melted. The manager scolded him and then scrapped him too. But like Alfred, his ghost haunts what is now the Arlesdale Railway.
