I love seeing some of these comments where all people do is nothing but complain how this isn't "true hardcore". Just to let some of you know I grew-up listening to Hardcore in the 90's and this is just as Hardcore as say Earth Crisis, Snapcase, Vision Of Disorder, Integrity, Sick of It All, Madball.....like straight-up if you're thinking that everything has to be judged by the standards that Black Flag and Discharge put on the genre then you are missing out on some major lessons learned in life and overall fun by bands such as The Ghost Inside. And this is coming from a guy who listens to bands such as Gorguts, Suffocation, Pantera, Bolt Thrower, Type O Negative, Celtic Frost, Inquisition, etc. Now if a guy like me who is a major mark for extreme metal and can majorly appreciate this band....there's no excuse for your close-mindedness. The 2000's called and they want their narrow-minded opinions back.

If you show someone who's completely oblivious to music, a song made by some horribly inadequate musician, they're probably gonna hear how shitty it is and point its shittyness out. Yes I am saying that. Im not trying trying to be arrogant but I have been playing my whole life so i obviously know more about it than someone who just listens to it when they have no clue about writing songs or composing music. Yes I agree its different if the artist is blatantly horrible but these guys aren't and write well written lyrics and songs. For someone who hasn't played music in their life to go into deep crticism about their songwriting ability is ignorant and pointless. What you're saying would be like someone trying to tell an athlete how to play their sport but have never even put on a pair of cleats. It would be asinine.

I never really noticed it before until you mentioned it. It is there, but the average listener isn't going to notice. It doesn't detract from the overall sound or craftsmanship of the song. This is easily the best song on the album.
