I was kind of hoping to see a story about Jin possibly being hunted down by Samurai as he worked to take down a new threat. Maybe even reconciling with his Uncle assuming they went with the ending where he lives.

I think I know the story here for Ghost of Yotei. I think the Ghost has been passed down for generations and it eventually spread. And since this is during the Sengoku period, my guess is due to the Samurai now owning firearms thanks to the Western merchants, it was easy for them to hunt down the Ghosts leaving Atsu the last. And my guess here that wolf plays a significant role. I wanna take a guess that the wolves have become extinct but it turns out there is one more still alive which explains Atsu's reaction towards it. She was surprise there is still one and I think the wolf may become her companion. Now this may get emotional. But I think the wolf may die too similar to Jin's horse also died.

I love the Trailer! It looks so crisp and stunning. To be honest i was really expecting we would dive into the second Mongol Invasion in 1281 or at least see the Outcome and then play as Jin again who's been hunted by his own People for everything. I think Jin's Story has some strong Parallels to Chris Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy. The Ghost isn't one particular Person. It's an Idea, a Symbol and anyone can take up the Mask. I love the Idea of delving into the Tokugawa Era and seeing some of the famous Figures such as as Ieyasu, Nobunaga Oda and so on. I always thought that Jin is GoT's Version of the Founder of the Shinobi Myth. He was the first ever who used those stealth Tactics against thecMongols and he could've taught that to others later, opening the Path for Ninja/Shinobi to rise. That Game will be fantastic. I'm still hesistant on getting this GoY. I loved GoT and would have liked to see Jin Sakai's story continue. I am aware of the female character issue and I have no problem with that as long as there's no agenda being pressed. Looking at some other games like Spider-man 2, TLOU 2, GOW Ragnarok, HFW, it's quite easy to see (at least for me) why some people are hesistant or absolutely refusing to get it and the VA being a radical lunatic on social media. Doesn't help the former CEO said "don't like it, don't buy it." That didn't work well for Battlefield 5. I'll wait 2 weeks after release

They're going to be doing a serious of Spin-offs so I don't think we'll get more Jin any time soon besides him likely appearing in Ghost of Yotei because the he's bound to have become a legend, which was a feature of the first game. I could even see them bringing back legends mode and letting you pick specific characters for classes, like Jin and even historical figures or myths.

There is no way a consulting firm is going to dictate the overall story Sucker Punch, or any game studio, is going to tell, nor decide the protagonist they use. The tail does not wag the dog. Companies use consulting firms for various reasons. One reason might be because companies ask themselves how can we make our product more appealing to more people? It's not some vast conspiracy to bring down the patriarchy down through video games. If only
