In this episode I am exploring the Cape of Good Hope - and my ride takes me to the most southern point of peninsula: Cape Point. It is these waters that the ghost ship the Flying Dutchman is still haunting until this day... Will I see the ghost ship??

I might not get an answer after more than 1 year but I was wondering how "famous" or favoured the Scarborough Beach is for Cape-Town residents? So far I've been two times in RSA for in total almost 9 weeks and besides Nature Valley down in Plettenberg Bay, I haven't seen any beach that comes close to Scarborough when it comes to sundown during rough winds and the pure power of the ocean.....such a breathtaking experience!!

@@TheAncientBiker Why would that person be a Brexit voter or a Brit as you put it. What was the point of such a stupid remark. Obviously that person has not seen the videos of itchy half frozen to death crossing mountain tops alone. Strange to ramble on about a holiday ,however itchy does what she loves and entertains thousands . In normal circumstances the Brexit vote would have been to close to call. The Lisbon treaty meant that the money people would leave by any means . What is so great about the EU anyway ? Just curious ...... Thousands of illegals camped around northern France trying to get to England seem to think it is a hell hole . By the way , your name is English. Maybe British as in Brit.

@@keen2b Itchy , likes to travel. She is hard working , with empathy by the bucket load , entertaining, educational and an inspiration to many. She may make money from the videos and good luck to her. However she certainly earns her money ,and provides hundreds of thousands of people with a view on the world that we would not normally see. If you think it is just a holiday and not a test of her physical and mental strength. Then please try riding a motorcycle across the Frozen mountain tops that she has crossed. This young lady has the courage of a lioness , and determination that some can only dream of . She is a fine example of a human being and one that any father or mother would love to claim as their own. If you can not see the good that she does ,I pity you. Not everyone can do what she does and does so well. However thousands can see what she sees via her camera lens ,and for a moment be their with her. Instead of living in lockdown. There are so many places to visit in and around Cape Town. Have fun Noraly. You are making loads of people very envious! :) If you hang around long enough in Cape Town, you can visit Namaqualand up the west coast to see the sea of flowers. Hope you got to visit Lambert's Bay for the crayfish festival at the end of April. Also much more local to Cape Town, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. For a good lunch ... go to The Brass Bell in Kalk Bay ... it is on the way back towards Cape Town suburbs from Simon's Town.

You should have gone to Boulders Beach to show the penguin colony. It’s very accessible, the beach sand is spectacular, the water is crystal clear and for the small fee (which pays for the upkeep of the facilities and protection of the birds) you would attract more viewers and see something really special. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

I hope Noraly gets to see more of the wonderful things our city has to offer. Perhaps once or twice she will have to leave her bike behind so as to walk on the mountain or on the beach. Also I hope she notices the bikers' greeting to each other on the road, given by a nod of the head. We're a friendly bunch and acknowledge each other.

Enjoyed the fact the old lighthouse could not be seen due to fog. The new one however just could not be seen :) Thanks for the chuckle.

Please ride the coastal road via Chapmans Peak again without clouds. It is spectacular. Also the penguin colony at Boulders Beach near Simon’s town is well worth a visit , as you can see most of the penguins and a really beautiful unusual beach without having to pay the entrance fee. Don’t leave Cape Town before you do 🙏🙏

Noraly, you seem to like the 2 things we dislike around here, thick fog, and dirt roads! Enjoyed the presentation and seeing something different. Look forward to the next adventure. Lance & Regina, regional Australia.
