Excellent story thank you I crayfished along the front of phillip Island from the Nobbies to Cape Patterson in the 80's Then purchased a well boat and fished from Liptrap to the Prom for about 4 years I loved working the Ansers and other bits and secret pieces in the days before gps I went for a look at Skull Rock and thought that I could see where I had been told that it had been used for cannon practice in the days of sail and that people had gone ashore and found cannon balls It is a spooky place so I never went back ! I worked as an abalone sheller in the 70's for about 4 years and never heard of anyone from Victoria diving out there even though I think it is just inside 39 /12 ie Victorian waters Cheers mate well done

Thanks for watching and for your comment. The cannon ball story rings a vague bell. I may have heard or read that at some time. Sounds like an interesting time in your life.
