Whatever people say about this movie, I still like it. It may not be the original ghostbusters, but it's a good movie on it's own. This is my favorite part of the movie, when Erin goes into the ghost world to save Abby. Then, on the way out, they get the snow white hair. Honestly, I couldn't help but connect this movie to Danny Phantom. I would have loved it if when Abby and Erin leave the ghost dimension, which I prefer to call The Ghost Zone, they notice their hair and we have a scene where Abby's leg falls through the ground and Erin's hand becomes invisible. Now that would have made this movie ending amazing.

out of all the entries in the ghostbusters franchise this movie ONLY falls short of the real ghostbusters cartoon AND extreme ghostbusters. this movie was just as good as everything else in the franchise signed- a lifelong ghostbusters fan who has children under 7 who are also lifelong ghostbusters fans.

To be fair think it's more of how the movie was portrayed and the writing. It tried to stand on its own, while trying to pay some homage to the original in a small way with cameos and certain events. And while the actresses are known comedians, the movie just amped the absurdity to a ridiculous level that made it feel more like a joke overall. Put it this way, you watch the original Ghostbuster movies and Afterlife you get comedy, but you also get those moments of actual uncertainty and that unsettledness that pairs with the paranormal in general. Here it doesn't even have the uncertainty or that hint of unsettledness, and honestly feels like something akin to the live action Scooby Doo movies with the campiness. Which in itself would be okay had they avoided trying to pull off cameos with some of the original cast and following the original sequences of the original Ghostbusters. If they still wanted cameos, then would have been better to write a new story from the ground up and play it off as an original. This movie felt more like a slap to the older generation to some, and that might not have been the intention. But it's harder to deny that it felt like it. I personally could have cared less if the cast was male or female, wanted an engaging story and this movie fell flat just cause everything from the beginning to the end just felt like way too many things were trying to be done all at once and none of it really came together in a meaningful way if that makes sense.

Well here are the reasons I’ve heard before and since this film came out: All female cast Shoving female empowerment down your throats If it’s a reboot then why is it following the first films formula? Gonna be very honest, it mixes the original music with the new movie, the scenes are funny and simple cause its like the beginning of this kind of ghost busters universe. I do like this movie cause of its simple comedy as well as ghe comedy thay you get from being or acting "casual" in certain situations. The ending was good enough for a short time kind of emotional moment wich makes sense by its own time. Its nice and funny and also has a different type of "combat" towards ghosts. This was a really good movie, anyone saying its a bad movie idc about your opinion as you do to my opinion. And if you say "whatever", i never asked you to say anything. Anyway, i do like the movie and the simple scenes. Enjoy the little things!

Because this is Female/Lady version of Ghostbusters and they used some of new Proton Weapons like Proton Dual-Pistols, Proton Launcher, Vacuum Shredder and Proton Grenade that were not part from Original Ghostbusters and they ruined the OG Series (Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, Ghostbusters The Video Game). Although Ghostbusters Afterlife saved the OG Series Timeline ending Egon Spengler's story
