In fact: HMS Queen Mary holds the world record for being the most haunted ship on earth and she was involved in a collision with HMS Curacoa with 337 sailors killed on 2/10/1942. Great story and Happy Halloween Nicole.

Beautifully researched, paced, and narrated. Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself so much on the Queen Mary. I stayed there last December and did have an experience on one of the outdoor decks. There's a narrow passageway leading from one side of the ship to the other; as I entered, I felt a full-body chill that I associate with the paranormal and then blurted out the name "Joe." Then I asked "Is there a Joe here?" Odd, since these thoughts came out of nowhere. Then I remembered that the ship had transported thousands of troops during WWII, and at that time, American troops were referred to as "G.I. Joes".
@ghostcasebook1266Ай бұрын

What a perfect video for Halloween. Such a treat! I was fortunate enough to spend two nights on the Queen Mary in 2018 and I would go back in a second. A lovely woman invited us to see her suite which was the stateroom that Churchill used on his many passages over the Atlantic. In our room I was awakened in the middle of the night by musical tune that played twice as though someone, perhaps a previous guest, had wound the music box in a jewelry case. I tried so hard to remember the tune, but I wasn't able. It was so beautiful and maybe it's silly to think, but it felt like a welcome. It was comforting. I love the QM memorabilia you have! These are such treasures! Thank you for showing them to us and for all your efforts making this great video for us!

Thanks for yet another very well-made video. It's obvious that a great deal of work went into this. Years ago, I had the great good fortune to see a full-bodied apparition. It appeared to be a short, heavy built person wearing a gray sweat suit that hung on the person very loose. I can't say if it was a man or a woman. The hood of the suit was up and the figure was standing at a right angle, so I couldn’t see the face. The figure was standing in a grassy field that I drove by going to work every day: it was bent over slightly with one arm extended toward the ground, as though about to pick up something up. It was about 7:45 am, on a cold, damp day. When I saw it, I thought it was a person and I looked at it intently, wondering why anybody would be out at that time and in that weather. As I drove closer, the figure became suddenly transparent and then vanished. It took me some seconds to realize I had seen a ghost.
@ghostcasebook1266Ай бұрын
Thank you ever so much Robert! Goodness me what an experience. Did you find it frightening or were you pretty calm? 👻🙏
@robertallen4774Ай бұрын
@@ghostcasebook1266 I was quite calm about it-more amazed than frightened. My first impulse was to go back and investigate, but I was going to work, and I didn’t have time; I also realized there was nothing to investigate-I had seen the figure go transparent and vanish and that was it. Sometime later, on a Sunday afternoon when the weather was better, I slipped quietly into that field. I found the place, more or less, where the figure was standing, but there was nothing to see but grass and weeds. The field was maybe half an acre; it had a barbed wire fence around it, but the posts were rotting away. At the back of the field there was a stand of small trees. Snooping about in this I found a tiny house. It was built of wood and seemed to be newer than the posts of the fence. It might have been a playhouse for children once. There were some cooking pots just in front of the house that had sunken into the ground part way. The door to the tiny house was a normal adult size, and partly open. I didn’t have the nerve to go in. I asked some people who had lived in the area longer than I had, but no one said they knew anything about the field. I lived on that road for eight years, and passed the field nearly every day, but that one time with the figure was the only time I ever saw a human or anything odd in that field

I did the 'ghost' tour of the Queen Mary late last year. I wish I could report seeing or experiencing anything, but I cannot. The pool you mentioned is on the tour and was incredibly creepy to me, though. They were doing some renovations down there so it was kind of ugly in the hallways outside of the pool area and I couldn't help wonder if there was something there that was not happy with that. When you go into the room, looking to the right, you can see the entrance to the locker rooms; I got a weird vibe from that, too. Again, though, nothing was seen. The tour also went through the engine room which had some weirdness to it too but again, nothing I really experienced other than that. The guide was outstanding and just from a historical aspect, the tour was a lot of fun. I will also remember how that tour guide said Zac from Ghost Adventures is a huge jerk and treated the staff like serfs when they were there "investigating" the ship. Also, those third class stairs you mentioned, they're no joke. Even with the ship still, they're very awkward to use. B340 was part of the tour - sounds like we were on the same one - but the guide said that it was not available to book any longer. Who knows if that has changed or not, though, since. I'd love to stay the night but it's pretty ruddy expensive, lol. Thank you for this video!
@ghostcasebook1266Ай бұрын
You are welcome. I was stood on the right of the swimming pool area nearest the changing rooms. That’s where I thought my husband was standing too! B340 became available to book in Sept 24 but I think it’s temporary. I’m not actually sure. But those corridors behind the pool are stark! 👻🙏

I took a tour on Queen Mary about 25 yrs ago and we were taken through the first class pool area and dressing rooms. My daughter was so spooked; clinging to my arm. We also toured the engine rooms, and our guide pointed out one of the large thick, heavy doors that would seal off the engine room compartments should the ship take on water. We were told that an engineer was crushed in one of the doors and died from his injuries, and most evenings as the tour staff was locking up for the night, they would hear (banging from the particular metal door) described as coming from within the door. And the staff would say goodnight to the gentleman who passed (I can’t remember the name) and the banging would stop.

Another GREAT video Nicola, also lovely to see the photo of Queen Mary launching the ship, my Great Grandfather played the Bagpipes for her yearssss before this happened. Will see, in your further videos, if you mention a couple of the things happening, since she has been docked in Long Beach, keep up the GREAT work as I always say.

I just love to hear and see things about Jackie, like all ghosts they can move location and maybe she was a passed child of a couple who sailed on this amazing ship and she loves it so much that she stayed on board and like any young child just wants picking up!. Again thank you for this lovely show and sharing the ghosts of this fantastic ship.🎉

That was quite possibly the best researched, produced and presented KZbin video I have seen, well done indeed. I also think that a human being delivering the narration makes a massive difference, the now common use of AI is terrible.

Ooh I can't wait to see the other vids in this series! What I love is that you came to America from the UK to buy a souvenir English teapot. lol I get it, though. I'd buy one too.
@ghostcasebook1266Ай бұрын
Ha ha I love the Queen Mary! I bought the teapot in the UK but they are so quirky, I just love them! On the QM they have round teapots now but I wish they were the cubed ones! 😂🙏👻

@@ghostcasebook1266 The coolest crockery I bought when I was in the UK was in a little shop in Oxford and a couple pieces ofrom a charity shop in Ealing. I collect commemorative crockery. One piece I use everyday is a Queen Victoria bowl. My other fave is a King George V & Queen Mary pie tin. Though I also love my Queen Elizabeth tea caddy. lol

Amazing documentary-level content. Ma'am, this has got to be one of the most comprehensive and detailed accounts of the paranormal happenings inside the RMS Queen Mary. I love your content, ma'am, from Kolkata, India. Yours and "Don't Scare Claire" are two of my favorite channels.

I'd love to visit the Queen Mary sometime, it looks amazing. I was doing a hypnosis show a while back and there was an eerie feeling in the place and I'm sure there was a dark figure in the corner of the room.
@ghostcasebook1266Ай бұрын
If you do get the chance to visit her, do it! She’s absolutely beautiful! How odd about he figure on the room. I wonder who or what that was? 👻🙏

@@ghostcasebook1266 It's definitely on my bucket list I'd love to see it at Halloween aswell to see the scare attractions they have, I've seen some that people have filmed and they look great. Yes it was strange, could have been a trick of the light but staff said that it had been seen on more than one occasion and that there had been other strange occurances.

Interesting bit about Jackie being most active in November and December. I wonder if that is when she was on the ship with her family? 7-10 PM curious. I truly don’t know how you manage to research what you manage to research; it’s impressive. Or maybe cause it’s a Holiday period. Hmmm

I really don’t know to be honest but that what I have heard. Quite specific really! 👻🙏

Another excellent video. Much better detail and background than most other videos on the topic which spend more time waffingly hyperboles than getting to specifics. It is strange how one ship has managed to seemingly trap so many souls...
