I thought this might be a lame remake of the old Hammer Film " The Ghoul " but this might be worth a watch & I heard Ben Wheatley hand a hand in on making it so that's a good sign... I record this & wait until Halloween... .....

Im about to enter the last ten minutes, and its my opinion that even the best ending doesnt excuse a bad film, so ill give my two cents now. Dont let the score fool you because thats the only good take away from this mess. Badly written, poorly executed, and calling it "mind bending" doesnt cover for that. The characters are completely one dimensional, the leading mans only trait being frowny faced. The one mildly interesting person they introduce disappears after a collective five minutes of screen time, so we can enjoy more frowning to a great score. The "mystery" is a fucking joke. Theres no policing element to any of it, and whatever "twist" they may have for the end is very predictable. Comparing this to Christopher nolans work, even his worst, is an insult to the man. Dont waste your time. Watch actual Nolan instead.
