As a hunter I enjoyed the full story of this hunt but as a photographer I TRULY think the production value of this video is absolutely top notch!!!!! This shows Maine Moose Hunting in its best light and the Beauty of our wonderful state!!!! Congrats and Thank You!!!!!

If this doesn’t show true sportsmanship I don’t know what does. You all showed so much love and respect for that animal as he was suffering. Not every hunter would’ve made the decision you made. An amazing hunt, congratulations to you all 👏

Idaho boy (54 year old man)...just had my 2nd hand surgery in less than a year & I typed in Maine moose hunting...and your vid popped up. As soon as I saw your pops pull out the box of ammo...I knew I was in for a treat. Miss my old man & our hunts together. So cool to see 3 generations spending time outdoors together. Congrats on everything about your hunt!! Living a moral & ethical life....is a blessing in so many ways. I trust your moose tastes extra special.

After meeting you at the Maine Outdoors broadcast I had to watch your video. It met all of Paul's comments and then some about the caliber of your videos. I will definitely encourage all my friends to check your channel. Keep up the great work! I think you set a new standard for hunting videos....a very high bar.

Great stuff guys, really enjoy your films. The story is what matters, the meat will be gone in a year, the antlers will get dusty and forgotten about but the memories is what will last.

A moose hunt can really bring everyone closer together. Even if in the moment when you're in the thick of it there is some tension, it forms a bond that lives on forever!

Such a great hunt and and a great capture of what our part really is supposed to be. It certainly isnt to go out and shoot the biggest animal in the woods. Well done on the hunt and the film.

The emotion of the hunt is well documented. My dad is losing his memory and I was able to go with him on a moose hunt 2023 with a friend of the family who was picked. We spent the week together and for the 3rd moose hunt over the years and it more about the time bonding in the struggles that go into being in the wild. Every trail we walked has a memory and a story of times past, so we spent most of the hunt reliving old times because he has lost the moment of being in the now.

awesome video , and a great lesson to every hunter , a reminder that hunting is a previledge not a right and we all like to make a quick kill so the animals dont suffer , that bull was not the tipical trophy ,but he is one of the best because he opened hearts and exposed the true meaning of being an ethical hunter is , you saved him a horrible death and suffering and he gifted you with his life giveing meat , God Bless you

You guys are true sportsmen. Thank you for this footage. I've been lucky enough to draw twice in Maine. Those long weeks in the Maine clear cuts are no joke. This shows eveything an outdoorsman needs to realize about hunting the Northeast.

It definitely is not an easy task to tackle a moose hunt, let alone in 6 days in remote territory. Hope your hunts were successes! Are you in the moose lottery for tomorrow?

This is the best video I've ever watched on KZbin. You all came together in the end. The moose that Will shot was meant to happen that way. I say a greater power from above put the injured moose there to be taken care of. So amazing listening to Will talk to the boy about why he shot it and then skinning it together. I think everyone there learned something from that hunt. The boy ( sorry I can't remember his name) will be a great hunter too. Watching them together I had tears in my eyes. Thank you for making the video for anyone to watch. Peace be with you always. From Nova Scotia Canada

Barry, thank you so much for your comment! We don't do this for high fews or a large following, we do it for comments like yours. It means the world to us when someone takes the time to watch our films and then leave a thoughtful comment. Hope you and yours don't get affected by the fires going on right now, stay safe!

Another spectacular showing, lads. This is what it's all about. So many hunting films try to just show how tough and strong everyone is, but this was different. Showing the camaraderie and care you all have for one another, and being able to step back and see how it all fits into the bigger picture is something that we all could use a little more of.

What a fantastic family adventure! You can’t script the real story, it develops in its own way. I think you all made some tough decisions that ended in the best way possible.
@huntingme Жыл бұрын
Definitely no way we could have predicted that! It's ironic too because in our last moose hunt "The Dream" it almost went according to a "script". John even says in the intro "If I could write the script for this hunt..." and then a year later the complete opposite happens but it still all came together!

What hunting packs do all of you use?
@huntingme Жыл бұрын
We use frame packs when we are packing out moose quarters. They are made by Barney’s. The packs u often see on our backs when we are hunting are made by Kifaru. We strongly believe in both of these companies and highly recommend them. Thanks for watching
@chadbinette3201 Жыл бұрын
The attitude of not having to get one vs Having to get one so bad someone took potentially a bad shot and just injured its hind quarters, which 4ft.off and still hit it and Injured it, which it "survived" but most likely wouldn't of made it two weeks, definitely not through the winter.
