I've heard so many messages like this lately...we are enough ❤ I try to remember...we are human beings not human doings. And so many are struggling with this concept of wanting to slow down but yet... Love that your friend's name is Elsie...that was grandmother's name. Beautiful video...your creativity is magical 😊 Too much chocolate? Didn't know that was possible 😅 Thanks for being you ❤

Oh my word...watching this video was like getting a warm hug. I can relate sooo much to the things you shared. Feeling not creative enough, not doing things fast enough. Feeling behind and comparing myself to others. I am sure most people can relate to this nowdays, as social media has a tendency to put so much pressure on us. But still when your in the middle of it you feel so alone. So thanks for sharing about this in such a beautiful, inspiring way ❤ And omg I almost feel like ugly cry when I saw you sitting on the beach with the "way of the heart" necklace around your neck!! AWWW 🥹 It feels so unreal to see YOU, the one and only Elizabeth Gadd wearing it. This made my day ❤ And the cup with Pepper was just the cutest!! AND you wanna know something funny, just before I watched your video I ate up a whole chocolate cake while watching a documentary on netflix and I feel a bit sick now. And then you said you did the same thing haha. You definitely are my soul sister on the other side of the world! And woooow the scenes with the torch, just so so sooo magical! Thank you for another amazing masterpiece video! You're the best 😘

Ahhh Jonna, reading this makes me want to ugly cry too now, hahaha. I had been eyeing that necklace for a while and my partner Kris must have noticed because he surprised me with it, and now it basically never comes off. 😂😍 It honestly feels so "me". I love it SO much!! Also wow, we are definitely soul sisters of the opposite sides of the earth, eating our hearts out in chocolate until we're sick and dancing with pajamas under our dresses. 😂 I'm soooo glad you loved this video and could relate so well, gahhh! Love you tons, Jonna!! ❤❤❤

Stunning photography - this was prob my fav vlog yet! And yes it really resonates. Creative people of all must march to the beat of their own drum - it's what feeds and sustains our creativity!! I appreciate the restfulness and authenticity in this vid. I started out with big expectations for myself this year also but my corporate job buried me and everything else got shelved for a few months. It's just refreshing hearing other people share their struggles with performance/output pressures and giving ourselves permission to actually just BE and LIVE and exist and embrace ourselves!

Hello Elizabeth, I am a fellow Canadian from the east! I live 5 mins north of Montreal. Jonna Jinton has referred us to your channel, and I am so glad! I have been horizontal most of the day today, trying to push myself to get things done. What you have shared in this video has eased the anxiety I am experiencing. Accepting things as they are right now regarding how I'm feeling, and simply going with the flow without the harsh, punishing thoughts, is the kindest act I can choose for myself right now. The more I self-criticize, the worse I feel. This will move me further from my intentions. I want to get things done because I am excited to do them; not because I feel guilty and anxious, telling myself I HAVE to do them. I am new subscriber to your channel! I look forward to watching your previous videos and appreciate the beauty and wisdom you share! Thank you Elizabeth! Wishing you, your partner and precious Pepper a happy Saturday 🌞

I can SO relate to your comment about feeling guilty over not getting the things done we feel we HAVE to get done, rather than feeling excited because we WANT to do them, which in turn causes us not to do them. It's a viscious cycle and one that I, too, am struggling with. I think being out in nature helps, even if it's just bird watching in your own backyard, or visiting a local park. I find nature to be very healing. I hope my comment helps.

@@marvalencia9960 Hello Marianne, thank you so much. Yes, your comment does help. I appreciate it. I know that we need to "just do it" because if we wait for motivation, it will never come. The motivation happens AFTER we have put ourselves in motion. Still, I am struggling and I'm trying to figure out why. I'm very into self-help and I can offer my thoughts and help to anyone needing it. However for myself? I can't figure it out! I'm looking for a job, getting ready to move to another province.....so much to do! There are days my mind is stuck like cement! I know what I need to do...but I don't always do it!! You are able to imagine entirely new worlds and realities. You know how when you're daydreaming you can just sit there maybe in class, you're bored when you used to be in you know literature class or something in high school you were so bored you would just sit there and stare out the window and just daydream as a teacher was yakking on about Shakespeare or something and you were sitting there. You're just daydreaming about some videogame world that you wanted to inhabit and you just got lost in this sort of reverie of this sort of fantasy world you went into this world. You were running around as an elf doing something. Fighting somebody whatever. That is a little taste. A little microcosm of what can really happen. What God is doing on the macro level. So when you crank up the consciousness and you crank up all these other dials. Your imagination goes through the roof. your creativity goes through the roof. You literally tap into the source of creativity. Pure infinite creativity which is responsible for the creation and the imagination of all of material reality. This pure creativity is responsible for creating atoms, molecules, planets, galaxies, science, mankind, languages, animals, you name it and you're tapping into that and it feels so surreal and unbelievable because it's too good to be true. Here you were living this ordinary life. Thinking that reality is just material and physical and now one day you find yourself in the nexus of creation where God's mind is creating the entire fucking universe.

It's really hard when you feel this way - when you're in a creative rut as well as fatigued from the seasonal changes, but you still NEED to work hard and create, otherwise you'll end up homeless. I've gotten quite good at being easier on myself, living slower and more meaningfully, and being as present and mindful as I can. It's honestly changed my life for the better and I would never go back. However, there's still that nagging feeling and reality that I'm not in a place where I can take some time off and not worry about things. I need to keep going and be consistent with my work. I'm currently on a bit of a time crunch, trying to make my goal of being a full time artist and KZbinr a reality. I have to leave my current living situation by the beginning of September and don't have many other options right now. I'm so close, but still a ways from my dreams and goals. I know I can make it work, and I know I'm not alone with these feelings. Sorry for the rant, but your beautiful video reminded me of how much I long for these feelings of calm in daily life. One day it'll happen. Wishing you the best! ❤🌲
