Charles Band ran 'Empire Pictures' before Full Moon. I recommend "Terrorvision". 'Re-Animator' and "From Beyond' are also personal favorites of mine. @@AveryTalksAboutStuff

Oh yeah, I saw this years ago. I found the DVD at a library and thought, "Oh man, this is gonna be good!" And it did not disappoint. Funny thing about horror comedies is there are so many unintentionally funny horror b-movies that whenever I see an intentionally funny horror b-movie, I automatically think, "Is this supposed to be stupid?"

I originally heard of these movies from Phelous reviewing them. After the review of the second, I was disgusted to the point they joined the shortlist of works I will NEVER feel obligated to seek out for my own viewing.

So, the same people who made this, Full Moon Entertianment, also made the Puppetmaster movies. If you know anything about them, you'll realize how many they made using almost no budget. In fact, the Gingerdead Man 2 is basically a self insert parody of the studio and their low budget, schlocky movies pumped out at naseum with use of wierd puppets. Basically, Busey cookie terrorizes this crappy movie studio all while a completely unrelated plot just happens with a internet troll pretending to be a make a wish kid so he can terrorize the director for not taking his script submissions seriously. Yeah..its weird..it has nearly nothing to do with the cookie killer story from the first movie despite recapping and Gingy even feels like he was crammed into a script that he wasnt intended for orgionally. He mostly just kills grips and extras in other areas while the main charcaters unfold thier drama about the studio being threatened by the internet troll's botcott pedition a d the make a wish kids docent being smitten with the lame director. Lol The overly dumb creatures from the in movie production (which are self jabs at thier own puppet creatures) ultimately come to life and crucify the cookie while the troll does his reveal but gets killed by an actor in character who thinks its part of the production. Despite their own self harshness, full moon actually IS very creative and good with their creature props, at least in the puppetmaster movies, and with a low budget nonetheless. Their scripts and productions are often pretty cheesey but that is part of the fun and they are MUCH better visually than the vheap CGI horror crap that would replace thier niche in the genre.

Oh god i've never heard of this before or the sequels and i understand why because of Tubi which i rarely used it like not as much as Vimeo or Dailymotion, but i use it more than Odysee. I'm indifferent or mixed with Tubi on the one hand, it's just ok but on the other hand tho, Australian media is scarce and weird video speeds with stuff Current show watching atm: H2O: Just Add Water Planned shows/rewatches: Parallax & Silversun which i think i suggested a while back and a bunch of leftover AUS live action/animated tv series (idk yet with movies especially with Netflix removing some that i have checked beforehand that have or didn't suggested at least not yet or a while ago
