Pawn (2020) This movie was splendid. I literally wept out my eyes watching it. Truly, not blood relations are all relations. In fact emotions like love, affection, care compassion are some of the terms we truly understand when we make friends with different people to whom we are not at all related. i have watched Sung dong il sir in many other series and movies but this one was the best of his collections. also that little girl from sunbae don't put on this lipstick did a great job.

After that knowing his occupation and nature he could've abandoned her but he changed his way of living and raised her like a real parent and gave her the life that even her own mother could not have. But I'm also curious as to what would have happened if the little girl did go China with her mother if her life would have been as successful as now or would child agencies take away deportee's kids. I don't know much about deporting other than people going back to their country.

Call me crazy and a Tolkien nerd, but that somehow made me think of Maedhros and Maglor raising the abandoned twins, Elrond and Elros, which their parents basically left them behind when maedhros and Maglor fought their way to them to take back the Silmaril gem their father created and with a lot of stealing it ended up to that family.

I'm literally cryng this was so wholesome like they finally reunite after 10 years even tho at first he doesn't remember he still keept the little thing that u can hear music and save money for her and his bestfriend too even when his best friend was not there with them anymore he still care and help her until the very end

There is also an end credits scene where Doo Suk gains enough function back to walk Pawn down the aisle during her wedding. Great movie.
