Going into NYC out of the tunnels is defiantly overwhelming. We started singing "Start Spreading the news... I'm leaving today..." at the top of our lungs last year when we went for the first time and it was very emotional for our whole family. We did it together as a summer family trip when our 18 year flew to France out of JFK for her 1st mission trip. There definitely is a feeling/mood/spirit about it like no other place.
