Nicely done. One small quibble, a "siding" is a railroad term with specific operational meaning. It is a double-ended track off the mainline available to the dispatcher and/or train crews to utilize for trains to meet or pass. The single-ended track where you dropped the box cars would be called a spur, house track or industry track but never "siding".

Although spur is the correct word for the piece of track that serves an industry, some industries refer to their track as a siding.

No. That is an MTH electric train. Yes it is O scale. Yes it is possible for Lionel trains to run on this track as well.

These are O scale trains. Lionel R O scale trains. This particular train is made by MTH electric trains.

What does "getting the cars classified" mean? Does that mean get the cars lined up according to the order they need to be dropped off?

Very cool. Have you considered getting a tripod to set the camera down while moving the train? It might also be useful during the operating sessions.
