Your videos have lifted my spirits. We just had a formal memorial service for my sister on Wednesday. The next day was a little less service for her, at the nursing home, where she resided for about a year. Very sad times, but you Sarah, help me bring out my happy side. Good memories of my sister and all the fun and crazy things we did growing up. It’s probably why I enjoy seeing you and your sibling having adventures, too. The memories are what get me through, now.

I spent years during the 70's and 80's camping in Wonder Valley. I had relatives that had a shack with an outhouse on Midway Rd. We would ride motorcycles south to the Old Dale Mines. There were no structures but foundations, square nails and open mines and shafts. It's a very interesting place and an area that I would still like to spend time at.

I love Calvin and Hobbess! I have almost all the books. My favorite comic strip is the one where he shaves his head then hobbes draws hair on him with yellow magic marker.
@carolynnunes392210 ай бұрын
My brother loves Calvin and Hobbes! Here’s some that 🤔gives food for thought…quotes from Calvin and Hobbes: Reality continues to ruin my life.- Calvin There’s no problem so awful that you can’t add some guilt to it and make it even worse. I think nighttime is dark so you can imagine your fears with less distraction I suppose if we couldn’t laugh at things that don’t make sense, we couldn’t react to a lot of life Nobody asks me how things ought to be. I’ve got tons of ideas! If good things lasted forever, would we appreciate how precious they are?- Hobbes Becoming an adult is probably the dumbest thing you can ever do! - Calvin It’s not denial. I’m just selective about the reality I accept. Well, remember what you said, because, in a day or two, I’ll have a witty and blistering retort! You’ll be devastated then Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.- Hobbes I say, if your knees aren’t green by the end of the day, you ought to seriously re-examine your life

I took a photo at the End of the World on my way to San Jacinto last November. I can't believe I didn't notice the Glass Outhouse installation!. Pretty clever. That lil' church reminds me of the music video for "November Rain" - with Slash shredding a solo next to a tiny church in the middle of nowhere.
@brianhiles81646 ай бұрын
The _November Rain_ tiny church in the “middle of nowhere“ was actually filmed in the center of _everywhere._ Indeed, the church was a “Hollywood“ prop, and incorporated built-in wheels for easy relocation. _Hollywood is so fake!_

I got stationed at Fort Irwin in September 1980. Even before i reported I heard I was going to the end of the world. Then I heard several General Officers make the comments, and one even ended his speech by making the statement it was not true what they say about Fort Irwin being the end of the world "but You sure can see it from here!" I tried so hard to get away from that assignment but it turned out to be a very good learning experience! GOD BLESS!!!!

The Bigfoot is a descendant of Gigantopithecus, a very large ape which supposedly died out 160,000 years ago. But it seems it has evolved into numerous subspecies , hair color differences mostly, and areas that were the same as the original species came from. It crossed the land bridge between Russia and modern day Alaska and we got Bigfoot here in North America. Females are smaller than the males in size and none have ability to speak. The aliens are from different planets and appear to be a consortium of races. Greys, greens, tall ,short, and propably have better weapons than an old west six shooter!
