The first time I saw the Go-Go's live was at the Hammersmith Palais, London, in 1982. Also in 1983, as support to Fun Boy 3 back at the Palais (as we called it) in 1983. They both joined up and played Our Lips Are Sealed (about Terry and Jane's secret relationship). So happy to see them honoured.

In 1981, the Go-Gos released the album "Beauty and Beat." It went on to be a #1 smash. This was an all-girl band. They wrote all their own songs. They played all their instruments.
