As a man of middle age hearing the Go Team was like a bolt from the blue, like a mad party where everyone one's invited. They manage to sound like everything, punk, funk rap a huge blast from the sixties and seventies and on their lighter moments a naive charm. They are refreshing iconoclasts, doing their own thing regardless, keep it up.

Heard this from One Tree Hill in like... 2005/2006 and it just makes me so happy. The nostalgia it brings me is amazing. I just remember being young, having no cares or worries in the world, being in love with this song and One Tree Hill. Every time I watch the scene with Brooke, Peyton and Haley dancing or hear this on it's own, I have the biggest grin on my face.

So I mean, my whole experience of the lyrics on this album are that I was making words out of what is being said and not understanding it well. then I heard the source sample. You are right that officially the lyrics seem to be "Revolution has come Okay! Time to pick up a gun Okay!" I think you are right! the source sample is a black panther chant saying, "Revolution has come (off the pigs time) to pick up the gun (off the pigs) but I guess in this song the lyrics are indeed Revolution has come (okay) I guess it just sounds like that to me. Is it that? or it's like a call and response sample. I'm confused. I honestly am having a "Yanni or Laurel" situation with hearing it, but those are certainly the official lyrics.
