It's very common for people to come on singing shows and sound nearly as good as Beyonce, Mariah, or Whitney. I have yet to see someone come on a singing show and do a Christina song like Christina and that is saying something. She has one of the most distinctive tones I think the pop world has ever seen and her style of singing is just not easy to replicate. Shes so unique and incredible at what she does and she is a huge inspiration to vocalist.

You should react to Christina's performance of Hurt at the 2006 VMA's, she shows some strong technique in a very different way that this performance: Neutral larynx, good vibrato control, just using all parts of her voice in typical christina fashion and the kicker was - she was sick for itbut still nailed it (you only noticed it in her falsetto)
