You think you could make some POV videos of you skating around the rink doing some of the basic JB moves? Just videos of your legs and feet at a medium or slow pace. It will make some of us feel like we are skating with you and I can learn the moves better. I am also trying to learn the edges of the skates so I can understand how the skates respond to certain moves. Thanks !

Malik, can you also find in you heart and schedule to show how to shuffle both feet, to the beat? meaning, one skate in front and the other skate in back, but, to the beat? is usually done on the one and the two count. its a very underrated move, Thank you Sir.

Hey Malik, I have been watching Detroit skate and I keep seeing this move called the “Pontiac.” Can you do a Pontiac tutorial? I cannot find a tutorial for this move anywhere- 😭
@kjcaprice802 жыл бұрын
Family seek a Detroit legend or similar for tutorials on that ... respectfully. You're asking Malik to create an issue.
@jessicaheard26382 жыл бұрын
@Fabuloso I want to see Malik’s breakdown on this too! From what it looks like to me, it’s a spread eagle position with your legs and feet but alternating each side with a forward backwards transition or shifting your weight to the right side then left side. I’m still trying to connect both sides so it looks smooth 😅
@MalikThomas2 жыл бұрын
I do the Pontiac all the time! Its in my natural skate skill set! Will do!

In the Cissy strut and the big wheel, when I go on to my 2 front wheels, they wobble. Is that because my trucks are to loose or I haven't gained the foot strength? Thanks for these tutorials.

Quick question about wheel size and why. I keep seeing almost mini wheels and wondered what the big difference they offer, and/or is it a preference...????? Maybe a segment on equipment, please.. Thxs!
@primrosedeluna2 жыл бұрын
Smaller wheels = harder/faster/slicker on smooth surfaces. They have less grip than bigger wheels intended for outside or hybrid uses. These wheels can obviously be used outdoors as well but they have no grip so you feel every crack, pebble, etc and may get stuck. Whereas bigger wheels ideally go over them and grip the surface easier. On the flip side, bigger wheels are softer and have lot of grip especially on most rink floors. They require more effort indoors. Both are doable for various purposes but smaller wheels are ideal for jb styles and rhythm skating
