In my opinion Eboni K has changed her tune because she has recently spent well over $50,000 to retrieve and freeze her eggs. She has also had to give herself shots in the stomach to increase egg viability and retrieval success. The process of trying to get pregnant alone may have caused her to rethink her positions. The fact that she was married in her early 20s but divorced her husband before they had children may also weighs on her. She realized that the path she is on is expensive, lonely and physically taxing. I don't agree with the lady explaining her 'Coffee Date' rationale. I'm retired with two adult children, but my generation did the coffee dates vs dinner dates too. I understand completely why a man - or a women - would want to see & talk to a first date in person to determine the level of attraction, chemistry, and even deception. I've seen videos of women scheming for free dinners at fine restaurants, and don't like it. Makes me think they're materialistic and trying to snag a guy with a big bank account to blow on her, OR, they're eating Ramen noodles every day and can't cook. And that lady is trying to make the cost of her makeup sound like a reasonable reason for expecting dinner. She's not auditioning for a modeling or acting job. Show up for coffee dressed casually in jeans and a nice top, with minimal makeup and your hair combed. That's the real you. A person's appearance is just an introduction, how it turns out after that is determined by their personality. Frankly, if my son (in his 30s) showed me this video of her or someone like her and asked what I thought, I'd give a thumbs down. Basically, IMO, first dates should be casual to see if there's a genuine spark for a friendship along with some chemistry.

I excused myself to go to the restroom. I paid for our tab. I’m a reasonable person. But I also am not interested in going for coffee. And if you are going to justify this type of behaviour, you are sick and this situation is exactly what I mean when I say most of these young boys and grown men are completely unhinged, because that was a premeditated act for him to carry around a weapon means he had full intention of harming her and a lot of these men go out looking for women who they know they cannot obtain only to get back at these women by physically harming them. I meet up at a riverfront low end restaurant get a drink and split an appetizer. Then we walk and talk, stop pass the free wine tasting shop, sit down and talk. Plus my boy is the bartender, so I spend like $15. These are successful women, i am batting over 80% with the simplicity. 11/13 busted those cheeks open. Walking and talking is more valuable because women don't think my men have good communication skills. I qualify them, and I've realized less is more. When I was dating, a coffee date or a walk in the park or near the water was always great for me. I was able to be more comfortable and there weren't so many distractions to take away from having a real conversation. I was able to decipher if this was an individual I would like to get to know further and there are no time limits on this type of date. Sometimes, these coffee dates ended up becoming dinner dates because the vibe was that good.

I honestly will never understand why women are so pressed about coffee dates. My boyfriend and I ‘s first date was at a Colombian Café and the bill came out to 25 dollars. And that date is by FAR the best date I’ve ever been on. And fast forward almost 2 years later…. We are madly in love, living together and planning a future together. He has spoiled me and continues to spoil me in countless ways (coach bags even included, surprise trips etc… since a lot of women love to talk about materialistic things. Just wanted to give further context). This is by far, the first relationship I’ve been in where I feel like I am not wasting my time. Even through the tough times in our relationship.
