I assume that you are talking about, "Paul Josef Göbbels" His birth was registered in that form and he NEVER spelt his second forename with a "ph". Throughout his life, he signed his surname as, Göbbels. Whilst we use a romanised alternative for Cyrillic script, there is no need to mess around with German ...... otherwise, Hitler was the "Fuerer". As you approach the German city of Münster, all the direction boards direct you to Münster not anything else. Maybe, we should amend the German "Aus fahrt" to "Aus fart". It is, of course, generally considered better to "Aus fart" than to "Ein fart" although it would be best to "Halt den fart" whilst in polite company.

Excellent and informative video, Stefan, as always. One thing, though: Hitler's birthday was on April 20, not April 12, as you said at about the 4:18 mark. Maybe you had FDR's date of death in your mind as you had mentioned it a little while earlier.

Goebbels was a German politician and the minister of propaganda during the Nazi regime. He was known for his unpredictable leadership style and was described as a difficult boss. However, he was also considered successful at his job.
