Lisa, I was looking up a 1920's makeup tutorial for a 1920 Tea I will be attending in April of 2022 and I found yours with Elizabeth. It actually brought tears to my eyes when you were finished. What beauty you and Elizabeth have created! I'm 66 years old but I was going to use a red wig (I'm a blond) and try as close to the same color scheme as you did. I used to live in Shanghai, and 1920's Shanghai is still a key feature in the spirit of that city, especially in art about feminine beauty. This look reminds me so much of the makeup depicted of 1920's Shanghai.

I am SO happy that you mentioned the importance of skin tone here. My slightly pale strong olive undertone has the hardest time with black, warm browns and warm-yellows and reds. These colors are wonderful in her skin tone, I have tried many eyeshadow colors and I have found the range of coolish taupes and greyish that work particularly for lining the eyes. This was absolute perfection, true artistry, Lisa❤️
