One never knows the outreach of love. On July 3, 2024, I post on FB how sad & heartbroke I was, having had a little reconnection w/ some old aquaintances & now one of them had been called Home. I don't know HOW many of my friends popped up & were also saddened by the news that was being heard around the world. It was heartwarming knowing so many love the Oaks & The Goldens. Quite a few had seen you all just in the last year or two. Rest easy Rusty.....this song is so very special, as were you. My arms of friendship are still wrapped around the hearts of all Rusty's family. Thank for sharing this song & your talents.

This was truly beautiful. I did not know Rusty had passed. I don't get much of our cousin news since Frogene passed. My mama was a Morris, and she and i were 3rd cousins, so that's how we are kin. I grew up in Jay and have followed along with the Golden Boys. I hadn't seen the Golden family since I was a kid. My daddy was a peacock and mama a Morris so that you will know the family. I'm so sorry that he's gone and send my deepest sympathy to you all. This was just a beautiful song that brought a tear. God bless you all, and may Rusty RIP. 💙🦋🙏

This was such a beautiful song. I have always loved the Oak Ridge Boys. And now listening to the Goldens. Rusty was so very talented in many was. He will be missed by so many who loved him. All the boys are very talented like their father. I know what its like loosing a sibling. I can relate to this song. Sept 8th will be 7 years that my younger sister passed away from a massive heart attack. And i miss her each and everyday. In the last few year we had our outs with each other and didnt speak. We were just starting to make amends with each other, when she died. I never got to say goodbye to her or tell her i love her. And thats what hurts the most. So the song is really true to the hurt. So i know all to welk how the Goldens feel loosing a brother. I'm keeping the whole family in my prayers.
