I couldn't agree more. People think if they don't actively direct the club to impact the ball they'll miss it, but for anyone who's played for a while it's almost impossible to miss the ball. Although, I'm not a fan of what I call that "Chris Dimarco" watch the clubhead thing. I much prefer the Jack Nicklaus type move of a slight head rotation, that he demonstrates later in the video. This move is easy for players that are left eye dominant but for those that are right eye dominant a Paul Azinger type swing is easier.

I am 82 and single digit golfer gambler, most awesome teaching I have ever witnessed. LIke a doctor with a prescription for golf swing.

Good points here! I’ve been letting my neck turn away from the target pre-swing and that helps me achieve a better turn/coil. The other day I had the realization that I’m so ball bound that I let my swing end at contact. So I focused on getting my trail shoulder to turn through to where the ball had been and immediately got good results. So good that I hit a seven iron over the back of the green.

100% Dan. I'm striking the ball so much better since I've started working on your methods. Giving enough time at the top (not jumping the gun) and focusing my "throw" back/behind instead of at the ball.

I've never seen any type of video with this teaching concept. I'm a single digit HC and this was very eye opening.... thank you for a great instructional video!

Very very nice tip. I have been coming over the top very often, especially with my longer clubs (or maybe it's just more obvious when using longer clubs). Today i only had a 9-iron (and 1 ball) to practice with but it almost immediately got my legs working a lot better, the clubhead came in from a better angle and I really felt how i could whip through impact, all in under 1 hour! I will keep on practicing this for sure, and really try to slow it down. I still felt i muscled the moves a little too much. Thank you for a great tip and all your videos!! 💥💥💥

Have you ever been to church and you feel like the minister is speaking directly to you?🤣😂. Thanks for going over this again for those of us who cant keep the mind/body from interfering. That glitchy little tense up just before impact kills a lot of us. Trust takes a lot of repetitions. But I am seeing improvement little by little as I apply your teaching in conjuction with the Pro. Three 9 hole rounds shooting 41, 43, 43 at a very tough course. Havent been able to break 45 in some time as a 65 year old with multiple back conditions. BTW the Pro, in my opinion, trains what I would consider to be a relatively healthy way to swing the club as far as the back & spine are concerned. Of course the act of twisting the body and swinging a club isnt the best for the spine in the first place. This "natural" method has been less detrimental for me however. Enjoying your combined scientific and a touch of the "Inner Game Of Golf" (?) approach. 😁

This works if you're right eye dominant and right handed

What is your history Dan? You have different view on learning the golf swing. I'm wondering how you arrived at it. Regardz Eric

I'm primarily a performance coach - performance coaches understand that changing at the action level is impossible. My approach is about changing perception and intention, which automatically changes action for the better. As far as the physics part goes, i have some incredibly awesome mentors that have taught me to see the physics of our movements on Earth as it relates in a gravitational field vs just classic Newtonian physics (which are incomplete and the whole golf instruction industry relies on them as absolute.) Also, my mother is a world class Solar Physicist too! thanks!
