I just had a wisdom tooth removed as at 34 it had erupted enough to create a pocket that was uncleanable. During the time before the removal, I was constantly sick, often had fever, night sweats, bizarre dreams, waking up with a racing heart or struggling to sleep due to a racing heart. It was awful. The healing hasn't gone too well just yet, and yet I'm still better off. It's incredible how sick a dental problem can make you.

I love that this gentleman talk about other health issues. From experience : Your teeth when you have a tooth/teeth infection and not treated can lead to ENDOCARDITIS. Which is an infection of the inner lining of the heart. Which caused two things, death (because usually not found in time) or emergency or intermediate valve replacement in your heart. So, when they say teeth issues can lead to heart issues is TRUE! This happened to me. I was in the nursing field working for a doctor. I had found out i had a small tooth infection (come to find out it was for about 8 months) One day I was out breath and a weird rash on my legs and torso. I showed my doctor, and she immediately grabbed me over to the hospital nursing desk and I had to have daily IV antibiotics for 10 weeks. But that saved my life. Turns out she knew immediately because her father died of it. So, people, lesson is taking care of your teeth, and if you have bad teeth take care of them. See your dentist to figure a plan, because they can lead to other health issues.

I've had my implants (full mouth) in for 1 year and 4 months now. I love them--and admittedly, I had to truly get used to them. I was talking with a lisp--or so it seems...and I had to make myself enunciate my words as my doctor instructed. They do feel like my real teeth. I thank God for my water pik...because it is a life-saver. Using the floss is kind of hard; however, I use the water pik religiously. I receive so many compliments...and I even recommended a friend to go--and she also went to Nuvia to get her full mouth done as well. I didn't go to Nuvia but my experience getting implants has been pretty much the same as this guy. I also had several consultations before I decided on a dentist. The dentist I chose does EVERYTHING in-house. Because of that, it did bring the cost down. Don't get me wrong, it was still very expensive but I have NO regrets. I decided to see it as an investment into myself. At all of my consultations I asked how long these implants will last, I was told 45-50 years. I said, Great! I'll probably be dead by then lol So, if your thinking about it, I say go for it!

After a lifelong dental horror story I had all my teeth removed, top and bottom as a liberation. After three hours the dent doc gets up and shakes my hand saying "you didn't move". Well he told me not to move before he started and that's what I did, uh did not. Put in five pins on the bottom jaw with a snap on denture and a regular denture on top and now I live life tooth ache free. I didn't want them pins on the brain side of the jaw. You have to be good with a Dremel cause I would trim the rough edges of training dentures during first three months of healing. If I had known then that root canals were just delaying the inevitable, but this type of dentistry was not there yet. Whistling is getting better and tighter control. Plus every day comes with removal bliss to give the mouth some lone time.

It sounds as though you are getting "real implants" ( individually implanted teeth ).. These are "implant attached dentures"... A very different situation !! I have individual implants and it involved bone grafting, soft tissue grafting and time to heal. One tooth alone could cost $12, 000...

when my baby teeth came out in the 60's my permanent teeth were a disaster, I had to wear braces for years because they were so messed up, when they took the braces off my teeth I had braces on too long and a bunch of them were rotten from having those braces on too long. so I dealt with that for decades during my prime adult years. about that time the anchored dentures started coming out. we decided that was what I needed and boy what a blessing they have been. to smile with out shame for the first time in decades. it's been a couple of years and no problems

@Therock097dmx, are you eligible for Medicaid? They've got great dental benefits now. Call Medicare and ask about Medicaid. That's how I got it. Also have a senior advocate who comes to the public library once a month. They're very helpful! Call your local library and ask. If they don't they should be able to lead you in the right direction as far as another library who has the advocate.

I got Nuvia implants top and bottom at 65 and I'm so glad I did. I've had dentures for 20 years and frankly they are pure hell. Even the best adhesives fail when eating a steak, even a tender steak, and then that poppy seed from your roll gets you and you have to excuse yourself to go to the bathroom and clean them. Fried chicken? Forget about it. My two bad things (of course the third is the cost) was getting used to having them in permanently and accidentally biting my lip. I've gotten over the feel of them in my mouth now and I'm getting over biting my lip, haven't done it in a week or more. Matter-of-fact I can't remember when I bit my lip last, and I got the implants three months ago. If you have to keep driving that junker, and you're teeth are bad or you're living the hell of dentures, get the Nuvia implants. If you have a good credit rating, it's worth the price you'd be paying for that new car to have these fantastic teeth that end all that strife, look great and will last a lifetime.

Why would u be biting your lip? I used to bite my mouth when i had missing teeth, that all stopped when i got flexible dentures, way more comfortable than traditional dentures, and alot cheaper than all in one implants. But the implants sure look nice. Hard to believe u can pretty much have the implants fitted before the gums have healed, i reckon that be very uncomfortable.

I had my surgery and have one to two more appointments before i get my implants in and this video has been so helpful. Thank you. When i had the surgery all they gave me was novacaine and that doesn't work well on me so i felt almost everthing and to be honest it wasnt that bad.

God willing, I will soon have the means to have my implants put in. My teeth are in bad shape. I have broken teeth, I'm always getting abscess and it hurts so bad until it goes away. Right now I can only chew using one side of my mouth. Sometimes I forget and chew with the other side and that's when the infections start. I miss smiling. I don't like talking to people because my front teeth are broken and have bad cavities. I know this sounds bad but when covid hit and we had to wear masks, I felt confident again because I could talk under a mask without showing my teeth. My condition is hereditary. My mother had to have all her teeth removed before she was even 40. Here I am at 40 going through what she went through but with no options at this time. I can't wait to smile again, go on a date, and hopefully meet someone and settle down. I miss eating my favorite foods, and all the energy I used to have. I know my dental health is the reason for my other health conditions. I'm just glad that there are numerous options out there and I'm doing my research to find the best place to have my extractions and implants done. I don't know how or when, but I have a strong feeling that my prayers will be answered soon. This video helped me a lot because I don't feel like I am alone with my situation. Hearing someone with a similar story to mine gives me courage and optimism.

Awesome reviews I haven't had the pleasure of my top pallette for years.. I have dentures top & bottom, I do have a great smile, but if only people know what inferior complexity I have each day I'm 62 & to this very day it's a dream to have dental implants Always wondered what the pros and cons were despite the steep costs. Eating, speech even smiling gets me down and depressed I'm a Southern Africa woman living in Cape Town I've been smoking too much and we know that's a red flag.. I'm more than willing to give it up for sure. 😔 With our regular house doc.. We spoked about it.. Jokingly said I need to sell our home because of the costs 😢 Loss so much faith in dentists and to be honest I grinded my way to save my teeth, I'm so fanatical about our sons and grandkids teeth and thankful they all have their own. Husband will retire 2025 & would love to have implants. Gums shrink with age, not sure if I have 12:30 enough bone for this procedure, however for me it will be my dying wish ❤❤🤗

I fell asleep driving my car 50 years ago. No seatbelt, the steering wheel took out my front teeth. Insurance paid very little and my dentist did his best but bone damage made wearing a partial difficult. COSMETIC dentistry is expensive but 10 years ago I was hit by a car and that personal injury settlement gave me my million dollar smile back! If you're suffering with a mouth of missing teeth and cheap repairs know things will get better. Smile! The progress in implants and gum and bone transplants give hope for the future.

For me, being knocked out was the part I enjoyed the most looked forward to. I felt zero pain, nothing. I took the painkillers for maybe a day and a half at the most. I haven’t had a full mouth procedure. First, I had two implants in the top/front to replace 3 teeth in the front. I was totally knocked out. I was not allowed to drive home since I was “under the influence of…”. Several years later I had an implant for an upper molar. I wasn’t totally knocked out. I had Novocain and laughing gas. I was permitted to drive home with no issues. Yes, being knocked out was something I was looking forward to, lol!

I had beautiful teeth - visit the dentist regularly. I did it all like I was suppose to. Then in 2007 I hit black ice on the highway and was in a bad car accident - I didn’t lose any teeth but the impact was so harsh I ejected from the pickup truck even wearing seatbelt. I had the seat belt bruise to prove it. I flew 30 feet - what happened was I bit down so hard during the 30 feet flight I weaken my teeth and crack several back teeth on top and bottom. Then my dental issues began. Fast forward til now. I need false teeth.. I’m praying I get my smile back this time for good.

I haven’t had teeth for 9 year’s the first time I tried to get implants I didn’t have enough credit to get a loan I built my credit score up and tried again and I was approved 🙏🏻🙏🏻 ) right now I have my implants in and on July 10th I’m going to get my teeth I can’t wait I’m tired of having a denture but the bottom denture won’t stay seated even though I put denture powder on them it’s because my bottom gum is lower then my top gum so the denture can’t sit on it properly. I wasn’t knocked out I had ton’s of shot’s in my mouth though they told me they couldn’t believe how calm I was they said most people can’t sit still when getting shot’s in their mouth I said there isn’t anything I can do about it so I have to accept that I’m going to get them. I can’t wait to get my teeth I haven’t been able to eat anything hard or even a little hard like Carrots or Cucumber’s or hot dog ( the inside come’s out because I can’t bite down hard enough to break it off so the inside just come’s out‼️ Lol unfortunately I will be paying for these teeth for a long time loan’s are not cheap there is the price of the teeth and then interest for the loan but I will finally have teeth I can’t wait to actually smile and not see a sunken in mouth 👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
