I can get shots with the motion controller that are impossible without it. The motion controller and gimbal work together. You are in a fixed gimbal position in manual. People hate on the motion controller for no reason and its weird

It's not fixed gimbal in manual. The controller 3 has a slider that allows you to change the gimbal position during flight. You have a fast and a slow setting. There is also a separate button that will instantly to full down when you press it down and full up when you press it up. But let's hope that DJI will release firmware the allows head tracking while using the controller 3 in manual.

How will you dive straight down with the motion controller? How will you do a S-split around a tree?

You misunderstood him. By fix he means gimbal is controlled via am isolated button. In motion controller the gimbal motion is smoothly integrated with ascend/descend and pitch right and left

I wish dji would offer the avata 2 alone deal. They removed that option from their website. Now they only offer large package deals.
