We were going to get married on my birthday. And now all I have is memory's. Just keep yourself close to him because you never know what can happen in an instant. I just found you channel yesterday and have watched all you videos. You guys show the hope for the lgbt community. It has changed so much in my life. I’m 52 and I could never come out in my younger years. But 4 years ago I finally stopped living my lie and started being the true me. I still have a long way to go but it’s so much better for me. Zach you had me in tears when you spoke about Bronson. A few years back we lost our 17 year old cat and 13 year old dog with two weeks of each other...its heartbreaking when pets get ill or worse when you have to make that decision to let them go.But then I was laughing so hard when Alastair made his comment about what he thought the surprise was LOL. Zach the love you have for that boy is the reason you got married, its always a work in progress and you guys have strength to make it work. Great to watch your videos: so helpful and uplifting! For some of us "old folk," you are living what we could not/ were not allowed to even imagine. I was at BAMA '67-'71 and "gay" didn't exist. You couldn't even think it. We just trudged through the "frat" dominated mentality of "super jocks" and stayed on the sidelines. Going "neutral" and "faking straight" were the only options. Then came careers with security clearances etc. where even knowing someone gay got you fired. Thank God things have changed! Your videos bring hope and make this "old guy" happy that you are able to be you!

I always love watching your videos but this is probably my favorite. It takes real love to be able to open up and be honest about how much you care about someone in that depth on a public platform. It also gives me hope to see my generation forming such meaningful and dedicated relationships. Winston got a really bad case of pneumonia a week after we got him. He ended up spending two nights in the NC State Vet ICU in an oxygen hood. Poor guy would just cough non-stop until he was too tired and would fall asleep until he woke himself back up coughing. We came close to losing him, but thank god he recovered. I'm sorry you had to experience that fear, i'm sure it was even worse since you've known B for so long. But yeah, ER Vet bills are EXPENSIVE.

OMG this video is great!!! I was in tears when you were talking about B and how sick he was. Partially it brought up memories of when I had to decide to let my little Lobo go a couple years ago. Also you can feel the emotion and fear/pain in your voice and body language. You showed a really tender and vulnerable side to you that I don't believe I ever saw before. The other thing is the comment about you, Zach bottoming. I thought that was such a funny moment and a bit telling....LOL. It was great.
