I’m younger but honestly can’t stand all the gratuitous violence and sex. It’s just lazy story telling in my opinion. It’s obvious the directors are going for some “shock effect” half the time and frankly we aren’t shocked anymore. It’s just lame.

The orchestra has a lot of instruments and choirs to make it sound beautiful. @Southern Raised are only 4 but you can clearly see they enjoy themselfs. i don't see that in the other version. i didn't know the danish orchestra did the original. there version on YT is pretty sweet, as is the UK uke-orchestra's. this is right up there with those, no question.

@@tracyavent-costanza346 I sorta doubt The Danish orchestra did the original, it was a movie tune after all. I suspect it was some movie studio orchestra either in Italy or America or maybe the UK where the movie was finally put together. Sadly, since this was in the 1960's, the Movie studio version may not exist in a very high quality version. Maybe some big reel to reel tapes in some basement where they did the final mix, before adding it to the movie. I think they did it near the end of a movie's production, as the movie was played for the orchestra in the final cuts in some cases so they could add their own emotion to the movie.

@@chuckgoecke either way, now that original mixes are digital, the quality is likely to last a lot longer so I don't have to go back and watch the flick anyhow. as I recall it was kind of so-so as a story, the theme song got an oscar or something.

For those here who are not familiar with the Music Score or Film, The Good, BAd and Ugly "Theme" actually consists of (2) musical pieces, the first being "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and the second score "The Ecstasy of Gold" which is the final part of the film with "There are those who have the gun, and there are those who dig. Tuco, you dig." For this group, very nice transition into The Ecstacy of Gold. Ennio Morcconi would be proud of your new rendition of his work. Nice job!

Cute way to do this song. I love this song. It reminds me of my granddad. This was one of his favorite songs to play, though I don't recall him playing that ending part at such a fast tempo. I value this type of talent so very much. I'm a musician too, but cannot play string instruments worth anything. I play many wind instruments and sing, but stay away from tempos like the end of this. Bravo!! I hope this young man and his family keep sharing their talents!
