Love love love the classic flap (currently from the distance) but specially in the silver. Tried on the jumbo, medium and small in France in the summer and didn’t get any. I had my mind on the jumbo pre-visit that I wasn’t really open to the other sizes when I was there. Didn’t get it because it was really big on me. So… good bye savings. lol. I’ll get a flap one day. 😂

I’ve got a funny story for you about my husband’s wallet. 13 years ago he bought a new leather wallet (random brand, he’d NEVER buy luxury). My brand new baby puppy chewed his brand new leather wallet. It literally looks like someone took a bite out of the wallet. He absolutely resolved to keep the wallet even though it has a bite taken out of it, and he has used it for 13 years. He still refuses to get a new wallet to this day. Now that puppy is an old lady, so it makes me smile whenever I see that silly wallet. Men can be so cute and funny how different they are from us. ❤

Hi Minnie another great The Good The Bad & The Ugly love this series I reached for my Chanel maxi classic flap the other day and I noticed something weird on the turn lock and after a close up examination on the gold has began to chip I have had it for 12 years but use it very rarely so it broke my heart a little but I’m glad to know you haven’t had any ware to yours other than minor scratches. 💚💚💚

I really appreciate these videos! Especially the wallet of your husbands in the beginning as he’s been using it daily for 8 years. Ive been using some of my SLGs for just as long/longer daily and I’m always like should I retire this? (Not to completely wear it out) but I feel like they can go forever! My neverfull in monogram is sure to have cracking on the leather eventually. LV will repair that, right?

I agree with you abt the excellent, top notch quality of Loewe leather items. I treated myself to the special edition small puzzle in black mellow nappa leather with the braided top handle. It is a spectacular bag. I am looking to add the leather tote in medium (navy) or perhaps a hammock in the small.

I’m getting into luxury handbags and slowly building my collection. I can’t believe I lived without them for this long. If you don’t mind me asking, what is the most you’ve spent on a handbag and do you feel it was worth it? I… Like you don’t think a handbag is worth $10k but it’s pretty impossible to get a small chanel handbag for under $10k unless it’s pre-owned.

Please, that often used LV piece looks terrific for 8 years of service. I have a Brighton wallet that I've used for over 10 years and it kind of deteriorated one day. I originally paid $80. This wallet remains flat regardless of how packed it becomes. Actually, this wallet is a wristlet, but I've nevervused it that way. The design is exactly what I wanted (3 zippers on the face), in a pebble leather. Only thing I would have liked is an assortment of colors, but black with black interior is all they made. For all those years, I never once looked at another wallet! Now I use a crossbody and use the inside wall zip for cash.
