The 1936 version of Three Godfathers (starts off shaky, but has a strong ending), those movies can't be ignored either. It's impossible for me to say this is the best, because all of those movies were so unique and powerful in what they set out to accomplish, I can't compare them. Then, I also LOVE the Maverick Movie, just for a good fun time.

I assumed they were his, but I went in for a closer look, seeing that he snagged The Good The Bad and The Ugly for only a few bucks and in pretty good condition. As if he sensed my very being approaching his hidden gem, his hand snapped to the vinyl, securing it under his arm, and he looked up at me. I smiled, saying to him, "real good find." yeah i agree it is unbelievable that all modern day moviedirectors think that you need a cut every 5-10 seconds taking all the aktion away from one scene. I mean manny people would go to the cinema if a movie of this quality was showed/reincarnated with 4K. I think the cinema that would do this would make thousands of dollars. But it is still sad to see that the good old movies sometimes do not get the respect they deserve.

My favorite western hands down. Saw it in its original release way back in the 60s as a very young kid. The soaring soundtrack and epic imagery are seared into my brain in a way that when I experience this film even today, it still brings back flickers of that period in my life. Music and movies rock.

I've always taken 'ugly' to mean anti-hero or morally ambiguos.
