I think the slaps in this game are criminally underdeveloped. The long range slaps from Doyle shown today are only a glimpse of what is possible. I would really like to see someone start taking some risks with slaps, I think there’s a lot that can be tough to defend

Unless Zo is demanding to play goal or he walks off the court, (which doesn’t sound like him at all) at this point it’s a managerial issue. Jolly needs to recognize that it’s simply not working. It’s game three for them and adjustments need to be made to positioning. Give someone else a look in net and see if you’ve got something. Good managers make adjustments.

Of all the suggestions I've seen flying around something like this to incentavise midrange slapping sounds fun!
@chrismarston42666 ай бұрын
I recommended something like this after the second game. Put an arc halfway into the offensive zone where a slap from outside of the arc does not have to bounce prior to the slap. Keep it below the belt but it would allow for a bit more time and power behind the shots. Having to drop and slap from distance gives the defense too much time to react and renders the shot useless. Point totals can remain the same, every shot it worth the same but the type of shot that must be performed changes.

my rule change suggestion, dont require both feet to land behind the line on a throw, it could be: lead foot needs to be behind the line; or both feet behind the line at the time the ball is released or as long as the throwing motion starts behind the line you can continue over it in the follow through. this would not apply to slapping near the crease.

I feel like the meta has been established with throwing, and you *cannot* build a team without one very strong thrower to draw the defense high. If Penik was involved in the offense and they had 2 down low with a float around the top, teams would have to concede a 3 on 2 or allow Cohen to throw 1 on 1. Either way, that's a lot of good chances. There isn't enough use of the high thrower to pull defenses away.

So I've got suggestion to reward the defense on throws: If the defense stops a throw before the crease, the ball is live but has to be cleared to the neutral zone before a shot attempt can be made. All the normal rules apply (no two bounces, can't walk it out of defensive zone) so I think it would still stop the garbage goals Jimmy commented on during this game, but it still rewards good defense by giving some opportunities to counter against a defense rhat isn't set yet
@gbgamer39496 ай бұрын
So in my opinion as a lacrosse and 5-a-side football player: 1: I'd make the crease bigger. 2: I'd not allow the defence to enter the crease. You could have a designated GK or just the first person in the crease is the GK. 3: I'd allow feet to be moving on slaps, it's much more fun, look at Jack's goal, we need more of that.

I noticed that, same as 1 obvious foot well over the line late in game 2 that they counted. They will count crease goals for the trailing team to make the game slightly closer & more exciting. To me it just comes across as them manipulating the scores & lacking in credibility. I don't trust Warehouse Games when it comes to them manipulating scores. Not since when the far superior semi-pro skating Wormburner floorball team was obviously told behind the scenes by Jomboy to make the games closer... when everyone knew they could easily blowout every team like they did in their first game.

Follow with the other comments here, a lot of selective application of the rules.
