The main culprit is the deterioration of the family structure over the years. Surge of out of wedlock births, no father in the household resulting in poverty, dropouts, crime, lack of discipline, respect, and self esteem. I don't know why many feel this is a taboo subject to talk about, but it needs to be addressed.

Ive seen it many times, no stereotyping or racism. Communities that have these gangs, clicks, and lifestyles.. half are dead by age 25 the other 80% are passing the lifestyle onto their kids unknowingly by going in and out of jail or being a rolling stone. 20% make it out but struggle to fit into a society that judges but doesnt help these people.. its hard.. but everyone needs to feel a purpose or they will keep this circle of hate, violence and misunderstanding going.

@@alaexpectativaentodo7066 It isn't a lack of willingness to work. You don't get it. People know the ghetto parts of town. What do you think happens when you live in the ghetto and apply for jobs, which ask your address on the application, and the manager looks at the address knowing it's the ghetto? Then the drug laws. It takes one fuck up. When you're around it all day because the whole neighborhood is on it, it's real easy to fuck up and end up with a drug charge on your record, which removes a whole bunch of opportunities. The schools in these areas aren't as well funded, which means the people being educated by them graduate with a disadvantage, if they even get to graduate. A lot of them don't get to graduate because their father ends up in prison and in order to survive, they have to start hustling at 15. Do you think selling drugs isn't work or something? It takes a significant amount of mental and physical energy, stress levels, etc. And many drug dealers work from the moment they wake up to the moment they go to sleep. They're not dealing because they don't want to work. They're dealing because the only way they're going to make $100k/year and have a middle class life is by dealing. Because life dealt them a shitty hand and, due to whatever combination of causes, programming isn't a career option for them.

White Master Mariner If a parent of any color skin cares enough to make that hard decision, I guarantee that they will find me and the vast majority of the town ready to befriend, welcome and offer to them dignified jobs. Churches are waiting to embrace and protect those that are trying. People of all colors from inner cities have their work to do, too. Stop teaching children to be racist and hateful. They must reframe their priorities. They must seek counseling and careers instead of gang involvement and drugs. Most of all, they need to make these decisions before allowing unwanted pregnancies to lock them in the hood. Get married. Simplify. Be middle Americans with us. Work for a moderate salary, don't take our moderate salary from our kids to pay for yours. Stop blaming slavery, when they need to blame non-existing sexual morality and less than 0 family values for perpetuating black, inner city despair.

The federal government should provide people who wants to move out of the hood with some type of loan to start over in new state.

Mr. O So let me get this straight? Because of your race or neighborhood you live in? You’re granted a loan, no matter what? How exactly is that fair to responsible people who prioritize their credit? And save their money in the bank? And have held a job for an extended period of time? I’ll give you this. At least you’re honest. You dont want equality, you want special treatment

It is NOT the role of government to do that.

Omar Raymundo oh wow! You have to prove he exist! If I say I can fly, I would have to prove that I can. You don't have to prove that I can't! Was Jesus as dumb as you? You keep reading the same book over and over, read a book about cosmology if you wanna know about space time! And the Islam doesn't use BC or AD. They have an Islamic calendar.

People that are judging will NEVER understand because they didn't grow up in this type of environment. Not saying u can't get out but it doesn't come without imeasurable odds and bumps and bruises. When ur a kid and u wake up to no father in the home and the mother strung out in drugs. The money u supposed to be fed with is being used to buy drugs. When ur own mother is telling u to man up and go kill someone or sell drugs to pay bills. The very people around u that should be influencing u to get out the hood are instead influencing u to stay in hood. U MF telling people to get out and do better it is always easier said than done💯
