I like the slower version better, Please!! I beg you to check out this female led band called Dream State, her lyrics are powerfully and touch on dealing with substances abuse, dealing with anxiety and depression and she also sings about being positive and not letting life or others pull you down. She said in a interview that Chester from Linkin Park is one of her main influences and she has the scream to back it up. I recommend starting with In This Hell, thank you in advance in case you do make a video reacting to that one or any of their songs.

Hey Alex! I was actually the lead producer of this video. You can see my name in the credits in the about section of the original video post. I just wanted to personally thank you for this reaction video. It means a lot to me. We put a TON of work into this thing. It was more like making a short film than it was like making a music video. Seeing your reaction makes all the hard work worth it. We wanted to create a video that would actually tug at people's emotions and stay with them after watching. We wanted to do this song justice because Ronnie created an absolute masterpiece here as you heard. Anyway, thanks again!

I swear Falling in Reverse have been raising the bar in the last four songs they released. it's been giving me goosebumps. It's insane how much Ronnie's voice and range have improved. I mean that climatic part towards the end with the choir is absolutely incredible. He's so amazing at doing the sing scream while conveying so much emotion and adding bone chilling gritt to his voice. And the way he can switch from a high voice to a softer voice to angsty voice to scream so easily. That control is crazy. And the instruments really complimented his voice. When he goes hard the instruments do too and when he goes soft, the instruments cuts off leaving only piano. Thats such a brilliant instrumentation. And adding to that this video is phenomenal as well. The story telling and the whole vibe of it is on point. It's a damn opera/theatrical/musical experience. It's like the whole song is composed together with the music video. Huge props to the cinematographer and the video director and editor. No amount of words are enough for me to describe how talented and incredible artists they are. P. S. Also love the new intro with the electric guitar man that sounds cool
@UMIunited3 жыл бұрын
When I heard the choir, it reminded me of the time Ronnie said he wanted to do another version of the drug in me is you, where he said at the end of "can't you see" a chorus of children sang "lalala" in the background. I still wish that would still happen but yeah, I'm really liking everything he's doing.

It's incredible how even the meaning of the lyrics go from "yeah dude, let's party and drink until we are puking and let's do it tomorrow again" to "I have a serious alcoholism problem that's destroying me and the people that try to help me", I mean the second one was probably the intended meaning from the beginning, but it's not as well conveyed.

It definitely doesn't help that a lot of rock and punk bands are trying to keep a party image even though deep down they all know its not fulfilling. So to see the switch from a deep message hidden by a party video to that same message being taken more seriously shows growth in my opinion

Thanks for this comment. I'm new to FIR. I heard revamped first on like auto play and didn't care for it much. To be honest I wasn't really listening, wasn't catching the lyrics, it was just background noise as I focused on something else. Eventually, and recently I sat down and took a listen still wasn't catching it all. Listened to the original a few times. I got all the lyrics and understood the meaning. And was like this is an upbeat song for a guy with addiction problems listen to revamped again and it's like yeah. This is the tone of self reflection, of self disgust, of anguish. I know it sounds weird when I type all that out but I'm hard of hearing and I just couldn't catch all of it in revamped with the orchestra I guess. I'm glad both songs exist but for me, as a guy who has used alcohol to self medicate in the past revamped is the one.

Genius video from Ronnie and any involved in it's production. Song itself is great lyrically and Ronnie's choices for when to be in his head or chest just blitzed the emotion into you, and the use of his fry scream and pure tone in the climax was just fricking perfect. 6 minutes of awesome movie quality visuals and drama that just told the story as he sang. Loved it.

That was also my reaction to this song. All time I hear it, I just have no voice and my ears are wet. So powerful this song and his voice is phenomenal.

For fuck's sake! Took you a half minute to do this reaction didn't it?! jk I knew you'd be on it soon rather than later and congrats to your sister btw! And yeah, you know Ronnie, he writes all of the compositions for the songs and for each instrument and while the video is his own construction, he has one hell of a team of directors and cinematographers to bring his vision to perfection. Also be sure to check out the info on the two night live streaming concert event he is throwing, "Live From The Unknown". Here is a video he released about it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWrHgXqNlMxpqbM Info on how to get 'tickets' to it is in the description.

You know Alex has that special charisma and energy and you won’t stop watching when he’s the only channel I won’t turn off if he pauses a song to talk about it 🔥

I’ve been listening to FIR since the day they came out. I was ✨moved deep to my soul✨ when I watched and listened at first. The cinematic value is to the most. The song came out so different and yea that Broadway feel is just *chef kiss*. They are doing a streamed live in April you should get a ticket maybe.. got mine already !!!

I absolutely loved how you let a the build up and goosebumps ride through and not pause in the midst of it all. The amount of goosebumps I have is like Endgame all over again haha
