These arrived today. They're amazing! My Blacksmiths and Merchants are 9D, but the 8.5D is perfect. Oro legacy is even more beautiful in person. The arch pad is nice too. I might have to get those Muleskinners next. Thanks, CJ.

I love the color. I'm so mad at you! Why? Because I have a new addiction...thanks to you! I have almost 500 pairs of shoes, but for some reason I never heard of Red Wing. I would see the Red Wing sign and never thought about stopping by. Well, I watched a guy polish boots and the boots the polisher was wearing caught my attention. I asked about his boots and he responded. I have since found your channel and realized I have been missing out on something. I need a pair of Moc Toe in that color in my collection. The main problem with Red Wing boots is the width of the boots. I have custom insoles and my Moc Toes are hurting at the little toe area. I can’t remove the standard insole as it is heavily glued at the midsole.

Do you sell any? I Just got the Gold Sequoia Russet leather round toes that are the throwbacks to irish setters with the dog tags. Love em. Also got the all black rough out leather round toe. It's a collab with Arrows. They're seconds, but It's hard to find a 10bor 10.5 in these or in any condition at all.

You are the best Red Wing boots aficionado!! I have that on my IR. It seems like creasing at a wrong spot but I don’t have that problem on the right side and on another same-sized IR. I’m thinking it’s because they are hand-made but I would love to get your expert opinion on it.

@@sen1065 It could be the canvas-lining. I had some rubbing on my heel from one of my Pecos and it gave me a blister. The leather had for lack of a better word collapsed. I currently have shoe trees in the boots to reshape the boot. Stick your hand in your boot and compare the canvas-linings. Then throw in some shoe trees.

Thanks CJ! I’ve been putting shoe trees but didn’t change it. But yes, I think it’s the canvas lining. I also have heel rub (burning sensation) on another model. I wish Red Wing could resolve these problems.

Are round toes easier to break in than the moc toe ?

Yes, I think they are easier because there isn't any pinching on the pinky toe...at least in my case. Different last 8 vs 23.
