Lovely distillation of a day out.

Great video and a great day.i like the slow motion shots gives a better sense of time and focus on what can be a fast rushing day. an emphasis on those little over looked and sometimes more important times we tend to miss in the heat of the day.

Good to see the inside of this one. I live over the road and volunteered to come beating, but got denied :(

Maybe give the head keeper Matthew a text as I'm sure that the day you wanted to come they were just fully staffed as it is a paid role. Hope you get the chance to get out beating. Thanks again Jonathan

Thanks for replying Jonathan :) Always lovely to see your content but even more so on this occasion. I spoke to Charlie who is apparently in charge of the beaters. I've since secured a beater position on another shoot, but would still be quite happy to help Gorhambury out on my free weekends being as I can walk there in a matter of minutes.

Hello, what camera and lens do you tend to use for field sports photography?
@JonathanMMcGee Жыл бұрын
Hi, sorry for our slow reply. We use Sony FX6 and FX7 cameras with a selection of Zeiss lens for our filming. For photography we use Sony A7S3 with the same manual focus Zeiss lens.

Slo-mo and music killed the video.

Sorry you feel that Ed. We all agreed that a slower style fits in better with the pace and relaxed atmosphere of these days.

I thought he said at beginning shoot the high brids
@booglewho86 Жыл бұрын
My thoughts exactly... Although if the guns had took note the dogs would have been redundant.

The shoot is in St Albans Hertfordshire. Not devon or Wales . No real valleys or hills there. Birds looked ok to me , you just had to be more selective . No need to be

@@grantcook5376 sorry I shoot 2 shoot in Devon if we shoot at bridge like that you would be set home

People shoot to their abilities. A shootable bird to one gun is a leaver to another. No point in going out to only miss and prick high brids beyonds ones ability.

To be fair, Americans don’t shoot driven at home, it’s mostly walked up shooting. It’s no fun missing everything, I think they picked a few lower ones so they could connect with a few and l didn’t spot any pillow case jobs. Looked a fabulous shoot.
