I've wanted to do something like this all year, though it wasn't until I had an accidental breakthrough while building my Halloween house did I think I might actually be able to pull it off.
This concept was originally inspired by the Anime "Mushi-shi" and was based upon the 'river of light' or 'light vein' in it. Naturally I ended up defaulting to the extremes of light and dark I love so much.
This house was more rushed than I wanted, and so was filming it, but I really wanted to wrap up all my outstanding ideas and WIP's before the end of the year. You have no idea how proud of myself I am for filming in one go, on the first try and managing to zoom in AND out on a controller without accidentally drinking 5 potions.
595/600 slots. Roughly 98 of those items are deadlands wall spikes. Visiting in person might be rough on the hardware. My office was easily 15 degrees F warmer than the entire rest of the house while working on it.
The light pools (aside from the fancy waterfall) are all Firesong Spring, basalt- their color changed with large tales of tribute tapestries lining the bottom, with deadlands wall spikes behind them.
I did use the addon EHT to shove the celestial vortex thing into the entrance. Originally I wasn't going to do that but I kept getting lost in it when I entered the house with it in the safe zone in front of the door.
The music is all random bits recorded from the Clockwork City in-game. Maybe not the most fitting score for this style house but I found it peaceful.
This house is now closed as I am likely moving it to a larger house and rebuilding it in a different layout.
Thank you for reading and I hope you all have a happy New Year!
Cheers,
-Mahvir
