The use of the Bible quote in Relation to Bleach to Awesome cause it shows the illusion of separation in a Taoist framework even though a lot Bleach’s symbolism and world building is a based on Shinto Buddhism.

I totally respect the religious base of what Bleach was based around. I’m looking at episodes of anime as modern day parables where we can talk about our faith and lessons we learn from the events in anime, manga, Star Wars, etc.

i love whenever people say this episode didn't have all that much action. you aren't the only one, but when you said it at ~ 1:06, it got to me. brother, Yuhabaha unmade an entire city on the ground and rebuilt it in the sky. sure it isn't combat, but it certainly is action 7:48 "for Gods glory" that may (or may not) be the message of the bible. to work together for Gods glory. however, God is not depicted as glorious in TYBW. he is described by his son, Yuhabaha, as suffering a great humiliation. at the hands of the Soul Reapers. the Reio is imprisoned in a crystal, missing all four limbs, and his internal organs. he is a shell, once capable of creating and destroying entire universes. now forced to uphold the cycle of rebirth, as the keystone that maintains the separation of the three worlds. but then he gets absorbed by Yuhabaha. making him the new God of Bleach. and while his motivations for what he does are understandable, that does not make what he does any less monstrous. you are not supposed to be rooting for Yuhabaha. if as a Christian, you see Yuhabaha as an accurate representation of your God, and root for him and the Quincies? while i do get it... you should probably do a little self reflecting. 13:11 4... out of what? 4/5? or 4/10?

My rating scale is 1-5. Thank you for the thought on the difference between action and combat. I will strive to correct my language in future episodes. I agree Ywach does not need to be viewed as a hero or in the same vein as God. I’m a Christian foremost. So what I’m doing in these episodes is I take what happens in them and connect them to teachings from the Bible. For this episode, I take the collaboration of different enemy groups to work together trying to save the world. I think we can learn from how these groups worked together trying to defeat Ywach for Christians to not fight against one another or compete against each other. I hope that helps.

@ oh and don’t fret too hard over the “difference” between action and combat. As i said before, you aren’t the first person to say “this episode had no/little action”, and you probably won’t be the last.
