In 5 days, on October 15th 2016 I was scheduled to be baptized as a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. By this man's kind voice of truth backed up by the Word of God I was able to realize that my heart had been deceiving me. I am no longer going to be baptized because God has revealed to me that this video was his way of guiding me back to his Truth.

@@learningtime3935 No, we do research. That is a weak assumption. We leave at great personal cost. We study very hard. To be honest. Lazy learners and lax disciples are those within the church who do not even bother to read the history or doctrine, but believe whatever their beloved leaders say. They are too intimidated to check it out. I used to be this way. Please, we do care for you. We love the body of the Church. We too once believed, and were afraid to read the true history and deep doctrines. Please research. Peace to you in Jesus.

The past several months I have come out of Mormonism. I grew up in the Mormon church. I am currently 16. I never truly knew the gospel I would always go to church with my mom, sometimes I would feel the spirit but most of the time it was you need to do this and that and always depressing and only talking about going on a mission . I had fairly recently gotten a girlfriend who has had a very hard life and never had a religious home or a good home for that matter. So wanting to help her out I searched out the gospel for hour and hours on end day after and finally found the true gospel. I’m so glad I found the gospel and I have never felt more at peace with god. And I tried to talk to my mom about it but I can’t ague with her or have a honest conversation and all she does laugh or not let me talk but I tried I really tired but people have to have a open mind and true change of heart. My girlfriend wants help and I’m hoping with time I can help her heart and soul

@@Ether-pb5gb Trinity is taught in the Book of Mormon Book of Mormon: 2 Nephi 11:7: “For if there be no Christ there be no God; and if there be no God we are not, for there could have been no creation. But there is a God, and he is Christ, and he cometh in the fulness of his own time.” This verse states two things: 1) That Christ is God and 2) That Christ is our Creator. So then Jesus is not our elder brother because He is our Creator. Also then Christ is God, the second person of the Trinity. 2 Nephi 31:21 reads: “….And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.” 2 John 9 reads: “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.” The Apostle John is saying that, if you don’t believe in the doctrine of Christ (the Trinity), then you will not have the Father nor the Son. The Book of Mormon teaches the Trinity so if you don’t believe in the Trinity then you will not have the Father or the Son.

He has a very flawed understanding of our beliefs, such as when he says we have a Jesus that cannot save us. The Book of Mormon in multiple spots states that Jesus is the only way to salvation. Either he is severely misinformed about our beliefs or he is lying. In all of the videos I’ve seen him quote from the Book of Mormon he tends to stick to his favorites like the one mentioned here. Almost seems like he’s only ever read those few verses and not any of the rest of the actual Book. Almost everyone I see saying bad things (more like repeating bad things) about the Book of Mormon has never actually picked it up and read from it. Isn’t that interesting?

+Karl Clinger Jesus is nothing more than a magic word for Mormons. They put His Name in their church title and somehow are supposed to become Christians. They use His Name to close a prayer or testimony and that is supposed to make it official. Beyond that Jesus is pretty absent in Mormonism. All Mormon churches are nearly identical. I went to Mormon churches in Parowan, Cedar City, Enoch, and Santa Clara Utah.

+Daniel Carter That is a charming sentiment, but Christ is central to ALL of the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I always take ex-mormon opinions with a grain of salt. There always seems to be a story behind the seemingly innocent posts like this that explain why somebody feels compelled to say negative things about the LDS church. (A relationship gone bad, being offended, somebody forgot your birthday, etc.) I have found that the people in that camp would feel the same way in almost any congregation because they go to church for some reason other than to worship God. I am not saying that is you. There just seems to be more to the story in situations like yours.

Ask them if they are Teachable? Are they Reachable? If their “cup” is already “full”, sadly they will not learn anything except what has been indoctrinated into them. Encourage them to Research The History of the Church & try to disprove the so called “false claims”…. that is EXACTLY how I came to know the truth. Gods Grace is so AMAZING! ♥️🥹 It’s also a GREAT START for members seeking truth & also where they will be able to see the truth of Mormon History…but again they will ONLY be able to see the truth if they are truly & SINCERELY seeking it & using the gift of discernment. Trust me, if they are truly seeking truth & the Face of God, they WILL find both. Anyone who “TRULY” & “SINCERELY” wants the truth, God WILL undoubtedly show it to them, they just have to desire it & sincerely seek it. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you”.😉 No matter what though, continue to pray for them, that is what I am doing for my family too, every single day. I’m a Mormon and I’ve been questioning my beliefs for about 2 years now, especially since now I’m 18 and I should be making an important decision (the LDS church has men as young as 18 go on missions to preach the gospel). This video has been a nice way to open my mind, thank you. When/if I convert, I’m heavily considering Baptist

Joseph Smith and every LDS prophet since him have preached a gospel of “do,” negating the gospel of “done” that Jesus preached and was. The LDS church is all about what it and its members must still do and be if they want to live with God (and be a god) one day. The true church is all about proclaiming what Christ has DONE to make us right with God now for all eternity. It’s a certainty. Jesus Christ canceled the record of debt that was held against us when He shed his blood, on the cross, died and rose again. All you need to do is accept Christ by faith. It isn't because of who you are and what you must do for God. It is because of who God is and what He did for you in sending Jesus to be the sacrificial offering for your sins. To be your substitute on the cross and to satisfy the demands of God's law that stands against you. Christ has done the one work that was necessary to reconcile you to God. Christ has done the one act of righteousness that could bring justification and life to all men. All Christ is asking with open arms is for you to lay down your religiosity and works at the foot of the cross and allow Christ to take it. Salvation is quite simple. Luke 18 And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt: 10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’ 13 But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Jesus said, "Take up your cross and follow me." Jesus is the good Shepherd. Jesus will never let you down. John 10:27-29 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. To have forgiveness of sin and God’s gift of eternal life in the presence of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, is through faith and trust in Jesus Christ of the Bible only and not through any church or ritual or rules, that includes the Mormon Church, Jehovah’s Witnesses Church (Kingdom Hall), Catholic Church, Lutheran Church, Protestant Church, Methodist Church, The Pentecostal Church, Baptist Churches, Russian Orthodox Church, Jewish synagog or temple, Islam, etc. Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23) “For the wages of sin is death; but THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST our Lord” (Romans 6:23) It is written, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is *the gift of God:* Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2: 8-9) Jesus said, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3) Jesus said, “…know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)

Praise the Lord! Awesome testimony paster, and so right! I was saved from Mormonism many years ago. A dear paster cared enough to be a witness of the Christ 1 evening. I was raised in another, Bible believing, faith. But converted to Mormonism around 12. Left the cult around 17. Then saved at 23. Praise God! There are so many false teachings in Mormonism. Folks, these people NEED OUR PRAYERS! They are truly lost souls. Please keep this paster and his ministry in your prayers as well! The way that this cult is set up, it encloses your ENTIRE life! Everything is tied to some aspect of the cult. They make you feel like there is no life outside of it! There's the cult, then there's the rest of the world. You just CAN'T be happy in the outside world, that's they want you to believe. That's what they tell people! There are rules for EVERYTHING in this cult! That's how they control you. From what your allowed to eat/drink, to who (and how) you marry! They brainwash you. And, if you don't fallow the program, your treated as "not good enough"! I saw it happen! These folks are VERY sincere in their beliefs. Even though the Bible proves them wrong, they are so brainwashed that they truly can't see the light! "Just read the Bible"! Yes, but they've been told that its not been "properly translated"! So that they should ONLY believe what their leadership tells them about it! And looking for your own answers is highly discouraged here! They even tell the members to ONLY use offical "church" sources. Why NOT look at other references? Because they know that you'll learn the truth, and just may leave! Keep in mind, this is also a $100+ billion buissness as well!(yep, with a "B"!) Did you know that the top leaders get 6 figure pay for their "service"? Really? When did running a "church" become a professional level job? They recently got in trouble for HIDING that wealth FROM THE MEMBERSHIP as well! Just some things to think about. Praise God!

Jeff, its Because of your ministry and what I have learned, that I spend as much time with the Mormon missionaries that have come by my home and those I have talked with that lived in the apartment communities I use to manage. Not many return to continue the conversation, but I know because of the teachings In This Video and the power of the Lords words, does His word go without void. There have only been 5 young missionaries, (3 women, and 2 men) out of about 100 that have stopped by my last three homes Ive lived in that have come back to continue the understanding and truth of who Jesus is and that He IS the finisher. Though they may return to argue the book of mormon, I know the Spirt is working. Thank you Jeff for equiping me to help lead these beautiful and loving souls to the Truth.

So, the Law of Tithing isn't only taught by our Church, you do know that don't you?
@kseismoloj
@kseismoloj 5 жыл бұрын
@L Where did I lie to people? If your church doesn't teach the tithe, then it is not Christ's church. I am not lying; it is taught in the Bible. Tithe literally means tenth. We are taught, in the Bible, "Thou shalt not steal". "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me." Why would anyone be upset at paying tithing when we are promised that God will open up the windows of heaven to those who tithe? Why would you push false doctrine that would make it so that people won't receive blessings from God? Christ taught that the widow who cast in her mite cast in more than those who cast in of their abundance. Tithing is stock in Christ's Kingdom. It gives the tithed a stronger tie to God, with a desire for the church to grow and flourish. We are also warned that those who rob God will be cursed with a curse. What is interesting is that I have a friend who is a baptist. He told me that he didn't always pay tithing. It wasn't until recently that he began to, and he told me that he has seen great blessings in his life since that decision. Why do you doubt the Word of God? Why do you doubt His promises?
@kseismoloj
@kseismoloj 5 жыл бұрын
@L you mean like you calling me a liar when all I did was ask the person if they know that tithing isn't only taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? What words did I assign to you that you don't believe or intend? Why don't you be more specific. You are the one who responded to me first and called me a liar. Then you say that I twist people's words?

People can say "I have faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God", but can they repent? Yes they can, but not everyone will. We must stay repentant, even though we all still sin.

When I was reading your comment, these are some verses that came to mind: Isaiah 9:6 (Jesus is a wonderful counselor) Hebrews 1:1-2 (God speaks to us by His Son) John 10:27-28 (He knows us, and we hear Him; no one can take us from Him) 2 Chronicles 16:9 (He searches out those who belong to Him to strengthen them) Hebrews 4:16 (come to the throne of grace with confidence) 1 Peter 5:7 (cast ALL your cares/concerns on Him) Philippians 1:6 (HE will finish the work He started in you) Matthew 28:20 (He is with us always) Philippians 2:13 (He gives us the desire and power to seek Him) Luke 12:6-7 (🫶🏼) James 4:8 (He promises to draw near) Hebrews 11:6 (come knowing He rewards those who seek Him) Stand on these promises and be encouraged! You are seen and loved so much! We can surrender the process to Him, trusting He will walk us through getting to know Him, learning to hear and distinguish His voice, and learning how to follow His lead.

I even was told by the Holy Spirit to go to SLC Utah and that told/showed me allot. They idolize the temples and Moroni, gold statue on the top but devout Mormons have some sort of deep reasoning behind it. I even made a good friend and then when I left he stopped texting, calling, and visiting. I left because I was told I wasn't spiritually prepared to bless the sacrament because I wore dress shorts and my shirt wasn't white, was told I'd be a potential stumbling block to some in the congregation. I also went back to drinking coffee, which I realized this is all man made doctrine. Then told by missionaries only way to be exalted is through this church and that the Bible wasn't enough.

I love this video and Jeff's ministry. I left the Mormon church as a 16-year-old kid when I finally found out that we believed in a plurality of gods and that it was the goal of every Mormon male to become a god of his own planet and be worshipped... I was trying to convert a high school chemistry teacher to Mormonism and he shared The Gospel with me and it was the power of Ephesians 2: 8-9 that opened my eyes and I've never been the same since. I have shared this video with some Mormon people on FB and without even watching it they condemn it... Mormons, J.W.'s, and Catholics along with 7th Day Adventists are the most difficult cults to witness to about Christ and The Gospel. Thank You, Jeff, for your ministry...:)

(Ephesians 2: 8-9) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. the scripture is correct, but there are two types of work, Normal human works than involve kindness, labor physical works toward another and than there are works of the Temple, ordinances and covenants. either of them by themselves do not provide salvation ,neither both of them together provide salvation. The Grace of God or the atonement does provide salvation, on condition of repentance, baptism and receiving the Holy Ghost, it is not without ordinance. The works and ordinances together are requirements to save our deceased love ones that did not had opportunity to obey ordinances. You can not call your self saved to the highest kingdom if not willing to save others, neither heaven would allow you to do so. remember Pauls declaration of several levels of kingdom, or Jesus declaration in my fathers house there are many kingdoms.

@@lorrettacrowley5922 Good question? Someone asked the same thing to an authorized speaker for the church and he did not give any answer to it. Why? Because it has a very simple answer, All who study the LDS Doctrine know that the Lord has never left nor did leave any nation trough out the ages ignorant of his upcoming mortal mission and the fulfillment of it after his resurrection. Look into the similarities that most of the world religions have with the Christian religion and you will see they all come back to an eternal plan, an eternal kingdom, an eternal paradise one way or the other. The problem has always been that men have distorted the clear message of the savior himself and you find hindus, Islamic and , thousands of thousands doctrines all different from each other. So no, The Lord has never ignored humanity, humanity has chosen to ignore him. But to the Lord there is a time table for every nation, he said it himself. First the Israelites than the gentiles, than the Gentiles again and last the israelites again. The first should be the last and the last first.

You are entitled to believe as you wish... but it is obvious that you have not gained yet a witness born by the Holy Ghost about the reality of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Your preaching reminds me of a false prophet, mixing scriptures with false doctrines. There is not a spark of the spirit or even love in your speech,... as many Christian preachers from different denominations do... just because they do not know the truth yet...., and ironically, they are trying to save the members of the True and Living Church of our Savior Jesus Christ from the very trap they are in. I pray you will find in your heart to ask God in complete humility and with real intent. Your experience of the divine will increase a hundredfold. +Denise M We love lies, our nature prefers them to truth, no unregenerate person seeks the true God, our nature hates Him and Satan also blinds the eyes of unbelievers, salvation requires God to act on our behalf, we have to be saved because we cannot change our nature or open our own eyes or will ourselves to want what we don't, salvation is a miracle, the work of God Himself alone. Yes it is amazing to see what mankind prefers to believe and accept as truth as long as it isn't the God of Scripture on His terms as He defines Himself.

Have you not heard, how this hypocrite offers you a new creed! never taught by Jesus Christ? His salvation only by Grace blinds you into remembering that even Jesus Christ himself taught that Repentance, Baptism and the laying of Hands under the authority of his disciples or Jhon the Baptist authority was needed to enter the kingdom of God. Read Jesus Words concerning authority and ordinances, covenants and the need for revelation, something all the apostles including Paul trusted very much to have in order to lead and posses the keys of the kingdom of God. Where does this Jeff have any of those, no where?

Gail Owens1972 who has not heard and felt the enticings of the devil? His voice often sounds so reasonable and his message so easy to justify. It is an enticing, intriguing voice with dulcet tones. It is neither hard nor discordant. No one would listen to Satan’s voice if it sounded harsh or mean. If the devil’s voice were unpleasant, it would not entice people to listen to it. Shakespeare wrote, “The prince of darkness is a gentleman” (King Lear, act 3, sc. 4, line 143), and “the devil can cite Scripture for his purpose” (The Merchant of Venice, act 1, sc. 3, line 95). As the great deceiver, Lucifer has marvelous powers of deception. As Paul said to the Corinthians, “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” (2 Cor. 11:14; see also 2 Ne. 9:9).

When you worship a god that was once a man and came from another planet and deny Jesus Christ and say he is the brother of Lucifer, you have no chance of ever getting into heaven. God will not be mocked. God used to be a man on another planet, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 321; Joseph Smith, Times and Seasons, vol. 5, p. 613-614; Orson Pratt, Journal of Discourses, vol. 2, p. 345; Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, vol. 7, p. 333). "The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s . . . " (D&C 130:22). THE BIBLE God Is Not A Man The true and living God has said that He is not a man. Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent I Samuel 15:29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent. Hosea 11:9 for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: Job 9:32 “In truth I know that this is so; But how can a man be in the right [b]before God? “For He is not a man as I am that I may answer Him, That we may go to court together. "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." - John 4:24 "A spirit does not have flesh and bones" - Luke 24:39 I Timothy 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. Nice people do not go to heaven. They go to hell. Jesus said no one is good. You need to be perfect to get into heaven. Being like someone does not mean you will become that person. God has already said that He is the only God there is. Isaiah 43:10 “You are My witnesses,” declares the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me. Isaiah 44:6 “For the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts says this, ‘I am the First and I am the Last; And there is no God besides Me. Isaiah 45:5 “I am the Lord, and there is no one else; There is no God except Me. Isaiah 46 “To whom would you liken Me And make Me equal and compare Me, That we may be alike? “Remember [carefully] the former things [which I did] from ages past; For I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is no one like Me,

I really liked this video. I was sure or clear on what Mormons believe Now I know the main problems with their doctrine. And theology. IF some of them, actually listen to this I know it will make a difference. I pray that anyone needing to hear these words hear them today! It’s actually a relief to know there’s nothing you can do! No works! Once you know there is absolutely nothing you can do to be righteous, nothing to work your way to heaven, that’s when you can fall to your knees and genuinely realize you NEED Jesus! And HIS righteousness is what saves us! We ncan never ever be “good enough “ or work hard enough. I’m so glad to know that it doesn’t depend on my accomplishments in that sense. I do however have full confidence in the righteousness of Jesus. And when He saves me there was no question about was I saved or not or was I different etc. even the dogs knew I was a different person with a different heart! Lol

Thank you for sharing and what you are doing! Glory to God! I appreciate this as someone who has been confronted by Mormons and hearing for the first time what thier beliefs are and noticing right away that it sounded very similar yet they explained to me that they believed the church needed to be reformed as if God had failed to preserve His word and our bible was not accurate yet they told me that they support and recommend studying the bible. They also told me a few other things that appeared to contradict the scriptures such as Joseph Smith seeing God, Jesus, I believe they said Moses, all appearing to him at the same time and seeing them face to face. I was also told that they were to continue the priestly lineage of Aaron...yet the scriptures say that no man may see His face and live. Cf. Exodus 33:20 also that no one has seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made Him known. John 1:18 also 1 John 4:12 supports this. And also regarding priesthood we can turn to Hebrews 7:11-28 as one great part of scripture explains the contrast from the old priesthood to the new as Jesus is a priest forever because He lives forever to make intercession for us. I also was upset that they would be taught such a thing as the scriptures and the church being lost or in need of a restoration seeing as 1) Jesus gave His life. 2) Apostles and many christian men and women were rejected, persecuted, burned alive, and suffered many things so that we can have our bibles today. God bless you and thank you for helping and sharing your testimony so that we can be better prepared to witness to Mormons.

According to Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, vol. 7, p.289-91 "No man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the celestial kingdom of God without the consent of Joseph Smith" Joseph Smith decides who gets to the Father and the Son. If Mormonism is true, why didnt Jesus say "We are the way, the Truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Us"?
@tyndale25
@tyndale25 7 жыл бұрын
I appreciate you offering that wonderful reference for us. As I read it I see that Joseph Smith is actually responsible for all the people in this dispensation. That is a huge responsibility, as one might imagine. Brigham Young went on to say this about Joseph Smith, which I take great comfort from: "I will now tell you something that ought to comfort every man and woman on the face of the earth. Joseph Smith, junior, will again be on this earth dictating plans and calling forth his brethren to be baptized for the very characters who wish this was not so, in order to bring them into a kingdom to enjoy, perhaps, the presence of angels or the spirits of good men, if they cannot endure the presence of the Father and the Son; and he will never cease his operations, under the directions of the Son of God, until the last ones of the children of men are saved that can be, from Adam till now. Should not this thought comfort all people? They will, by-and-by, be a thousand times more thankful for such a man as Joseph Smith, junior, than it is possible for them to be for any earthly good whatever. It is his mission to see that all the children of men in this last dispensation are saved, that can be."

Moroni 8:18 For I know that God is not a partial God, neither a changeable being; but he is unchangeable from all eternity to all eternity. Isaiah 43.10b ... says the LORD: I alone am God. There is no other God- there never has been, and there never will be. Do you beleeve Him? Joseph Smith in 1844 in the King Olivet Discourse taught : “God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens... “It is necessary that we should understand the character and being of God, and how he came to be so; for I am going to tell you how God came to be God. We have imagined and supposed that God was God from all eternity, I will refute that idea, and will take away and do away the veil, so that you may see. These are incomprehensible ideas to some; but they are simple... “Here, then, is eternal life-to know the only wise and true God; and you have got to learn how to be Gods yourselves, and to be kings and priests to God, the same as all Gods have done before you...” (quoted from Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345. On June 16, 1844, Smith went on to teach that Heavenly Father has his own Heavenly Father (History of the Church, vol. 6, pp. 473-479). Since then, Mormonism has never been the same. Mormons now radically re-interpret verses like Moroni 8:18 and essentially reject the original teaching that God was unchangeably God from all eternity to all eternity. Mormons are now even in disarray and confusion over whether Heavenly Father was once a sinful mortal. Mormonism has apostatized from its own Book of Mormon, and now Christians-who don’t even believe that the Book of Mormon is divine scripture-agree with Moroni 8:18 more than Mormons do. It is a verse that we Christians profoundly wish Mormons would agree with. It is far more important of an issue than tithing, baptism, priesthood authority, or whether Joseph Smith was a true prophet. It concerns an eternal truth of the fundamental nature of God. “Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.” (cf. Isaiah 43:10) “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!” (Revelation 4:8)

May Ling Gallow he said that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is not Christian. So right off the bat you know he's not very educated about the church, or Jesus for that matter. He said the church was founded on a lie. Joseph Smith did not lie. He told the truth. Think about it, the most hated people in history were hated because they told the truth. People cite certain preachers of the time when they try to prove that Smith was some kind of nefarious person. But they speak the same way the Pharisees spoke of Jesus. They hate him because he is right and he ruins their livelihood because of it. Even Jesus who only did good was publicly known as a criminal. So if this happens to the perfect Jesus, it could more easily happen to the imperfect Smith. This man says that it's wrong to teach that we can be like Heavenly Father citing scriptures that there is one God. Well there is one God as far as we nees to worship one. We only worship Him because he is our father. No one else. And this man misses an important point that severely damaged his logic. One of the first doctrines un the Bible is "God created man in his own image". It's so obvious and it's sad that most Christians miss this. Then saying that the Bible is complete is pretty off. I have read the Bible in different languages and there are entire verses that are missing or totally different. The Book of Mormon was always part of the plan to come to us untouched by anyone else. The Bible was there to remind us Christ was there. The Book of Mormon arrived because so many different churches understood the same book to mean so many different things. It's interesting that this man unites people in hate against Mormons only in the things that specifically over unique Mormon doctrine. But he would start a frenzy among Christians if he tried to teach specific things he believed because of how many people understand the Bible differently. From Catholics, Protestants, Baptists, Episcopalians. But if he highlighted any of those differences and start that frenzy he would be proving the necessity of the Book of Mormon. This man unites by hate. He clouds meanings of the scriptures to preach that hate. He's not a man of God.
