Many have doubts because they aren't continuing fervently in the word of God (KJV). They aren't realizing the person of the Holy Spirit being Christ Jesus in us; and the power we have in him to overcome all sin and trials through faith in his strength. We need to acknowledge God's will, and believe him when he calls us into the fellowship of his dear Son; that we are to be conformed to the image of Jesus through his power, which transforms even the most vile sinners who repent, into saints. Don't estimate his power according to your self perception, or you are full of doubt, and your confidence is not in him, but rather in yourself.

Many teachers are doing the devil's work by discouraging believers, saying that their righteous works are as filthy rags, when in fact: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10 KJV "If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him." 1 John 2:29 KJV "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous." 1 John 3:7 KJV Apart from Jesus our works are as filthy rags; but in Christ our works are good and profitable unto men, that they may glorify our Father in heaven. Exactly. That "filthy rags" verse is quoted too often and taken soooo much out-of-context. It's crazy that a random verse from the OT can be applied to today's Christians and people just accept it out of ignorance. Their "pastor" (or some KZbin "pastor") always used it so they just parrot it unthinkingly. That just goes to show how DANGEROUS blindly following men is 🚩

He's been church-ianized/Calvinized. He would never say that it he had been taught by the Holy Spirit, as Jesus commands (John 14:26 & 16:13).
