I've always been a Muslim, I just never realized it until recently. When I was a "Christian" I was prayed to God. I always believed that when it calls Jesus the son of God, it meant metaphorically since God made us. I never thought Jesus was God. I thought all muslims were terrorists until I opened a Quran and did my oen research, shortly after I took my Shahada. I was speaking about Islam on facebook(nothing bad at all was said) a month later a knock on the door and the FBI was on my front door step. Somebody reported me and said I was an "ISIS recruiter." I started thinking after that and it only made my faith stronger. I realized somebody must really want to hide this religion, there has to be something about it. To cut a long story short, I left Christianity and my life full of haram and converted to Islam. I live in the south where alcoholism and drug abuse rips into the families. I've been sober since I converted, Alhamduillah. Never been happier. Assalamu alaykum brothers and sisters.

Emily William My parents did not react badly to me embracing Islam, but in themselves they thought that they had failed as parents. I reassured them that they did not fail and that Islam has led me to respect them even more. with things like Christmas and Easter my wife and I gave them up a couple of years ago due to their paganism, but it is still a struggle. we visit them the week before or after the celebration so we don't have to participate while still having the family come together. i don't stop them giving gifts to our children, but we tell them that we can't participate in the gift giving.

Their are many Christians who have not read the bible. In the same way that their are many muslims who cannot read at all. Finding a muslim who will answer a straight question about their faith is a very difficult task. Most athiests read an understand scripture more fully than alot of Christians. Reading and understand are two differnt things. Hamza is right here. Jesus never wanted people pray to him. He was very clear he was a messanger sent to spread the word about god. Christians who pray to Jesus are indeed misguided. As for dying for our sins. I don't understand that interpetation either when it is clear it is our own responsability to repent of our sins.

(73) They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (75) The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded. (76) Say, "Do you worship besides Allah that which holds for you no [power of] harm or benefit while it is Allah who is the Hearing, the Knowing?" (77) Say, "O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way." Great video. The old man was a bit slow in comprehending the obvious facts so Hamza had to repeat the same thing twice or thrice. As a side note, I wonder why it's a bit harder to understand Ian in a sense he seems to speak with the more (heavier) British English accent whereas I can easily follow Hamza as a non-native English speaker. Perhaps I'm just used to listening to Brother Hamza (smile), may Allah bless him. That numerology thing can be easily applied to the Quran (I'm saying it for the sake of argument) but not to the Bible since there are so many versions of it in different languages with no original authentic scripture being available.

i like this christian man, even though he is misled and misguided. he is your good old working class fair minded stalward. i to did not have a mobile until last week. being more than 55 now. i didnt get one because of that ahadith which said that the whole world would be able to speak to one another and that islam would go into every house and tent and dwelling place and when that time arrived it would be close to the end times. i have resisted because we are only given end time signs in order that we avoid them. but if its gonna end its gonna end. thank god there is another life for the good people who love God and his planet and his trust of us despite us being really quite untrustworthy (human beans).

This was a great video because it was a live demonstration of the clear fabrications in the KJV Bible compared to the NIV version as well as a clear dispelling of the myth of the two mother and father genealogies of Jesus (peace be upon him), and showing that both the genealogies were actually only of Joseph, the husband of Mary and even then the two versions of the genealogies were different and not in agreement with each other!

Sometimes I wish br Hamza would be a little less confrontational. I know he’s in full battle mode and I know he’s had to deal with some very obtuse people at SC but if he would please just take a couple of seconds to work out what type of person he’s dealing with, he may have a better response. Ian seemed quite humble and open to discussion as opposed to some other people there. May Allah guide Ian to the truth and perfect his worship and make him one of the inhabitants of paradise.

This was brutal. I know that isn’t our intent whilst giving dawah, but this Christian literally has no idea what he’s talking about. This debate is the equivalent to a lion VS a mouse (metaphorically). The thing that amazes me, is that so many people rest their entire belief system (to include this life and the Hereafter), on a book they’ve never fully read. I mean, would you let a person perform heart surgery on you, if they merely “read parts of a medical book”? Like they just skimmed through parts of a medical book and then they tell you, “Ive read parts of a medical book... it makes sense to me”. There is absolutely no way you’d let him anywhere near you. Yet millions and millions of people rest their whole life upon this premise.

Bro, why you don't clarify the points common to both of you in the beginning? Like: chastity of Mary, your love to Jesus, virtue, morality Etc, and then proceed from that point to the controversies between you two... so the man will know that you have good, easy and constructive purpose, and will eventually learn or try to hear something from you. Jesus understood yhat when he proposed to the rich young man ,the obeidience to the law as a way to have eternel life also like God said to Ezhekial. And when Jesus saw rhat the young rich man thouht that he was sinless because he saw looking at himself that he never transgressed the Law. He answered Jesus ; « have donne that all my life obeying the Law . So Jesus proposed two things in reality. 1 give away all you wealth and he did not say you will have eternal life, BUT HAVE A treasure in heaven ,then he said FOLLOW ME. nd where did Jesus go?He went to the cross, he went to do the atonement for our sins. And we followed him caryying our cross, that is accepting ( thats what we deserve death for our sins, persons like the 12 apostles who practiced the law with all their hearts. but realizing liek all who try FAIL. So Following Jesus Thats how we have eternsl life. But not believing Jesus that he did not die is not believing the message of the prophet Jesus who said many manty times not only he would die ,but die in the hands on none jews , Aaah yeah ,they were called Romans. And if Mohammad said Jesus did not die , He misunderstand the Roman system .
