I've been an arianator since 2013 and i know ari doesn't give a shit about the Grammys for many reasons. But it's so sad that her best and most cohesive work isn't getting nominated for AOTY and the snub gets ridiculously clear when "we can't be friends" doesn't get nominated for SOTY or ROTY. I'm happy she's being praised for her acting performance now, but i just wish there was more for her in the music industry.

Just wanna chime in real quick to say that Now And Then does NOT include any ai vocals. The documentary for that song shows that they used new software (which became available to them through the audio mixing process of their Get Back docu-series from a couple years back) to separate John’s vocals from the messy background noise in that original recording in a way that sounds clean, which they weren’t previously able to achieve when they originally wanted to put it out in the late 90s/early 00’s. They did not replicate his voice with ai, and some people like to use the term to describe that process, but I entirely disagree with that usage of the term in this instance. If you listen to the original demo recording and newly isolated vocals back to back, you can thankfully tell it’s the exact same. Now And Then is a great song, and the experience of hearing it for the first time as a long time Beatles fan was incredible. But anyway, I honestly think it would be really cool to see them win a Grammy for their final song. Especially since I think it’s a really good one too

as a long time arianator, i honestly cant say that im too surprised on how the grammies snubbed her again, but at the same time i lowkey am shocked. eternal sunshine was an absolute masterpiece and more, and ari def put herself out a lot on this album, and used sm of her creative liberty to make this her first ever concept album, which made is so beautiful. the scammies rlly r just massive ari beefers ig cuz thats still so crazy to me. aside from that, the only thing ive personally found to be reasonable were the nominations for chappell and sabrina. both of them had worked so hard the past decade to be where they now are and im so happy that they are finally receiving the praise that they deserve! and tbh i also believe that billie being nominated was fair bc HMHAS was a literal masterpiece. 2024 was the year for all these girlies! i have mixed opinions abt the nomination for ttpd, bc even tho i did like the album and rlly loved some songs off of it, i truly dont think its deserving of AOTY, and idk why lol. i personally just think shes had better projects in the past maybe? but oh well anyways enough of my rant, great vid!! the amount of uploads u have been having recently is crazy and im so hyped so watch them all :))

There was so much music this year for sure! So no question it's gonna be EXTREMELY competitive. But undeniably, something is up with Ariana and the Grammys because that album had the world in a CHOKEHOLD for we can't be friends and Eternal Sunshine could've easily been Album of The Year for its cohesiveness, emotional delivery and overall bangers on the charts. WHAT A CRIME 😭 and let me be so fr: The Tortured Poets Department FOR SURE hit its commercial success no doubt about that but I don't believe it was THAT good of an album to be album of the year. also Dua Lipa's new album Radical Optimism: WHERE WERE THE NOMS. Ok maybe not album of the year or song of the year but honestly, best dance song for Houdini? Just saying the album's singles did very well in Europe and i know this is centred towards American music but likeeeeeeeee the Grammys are clearly biased UNFORTUNATELY. i don't think they consider the emotional impact and culture significance to the extent it should, as music is an beautiful art form that should move you emotionally I have a feeling if an artist wins once, they would be highly considered again if they reach that same type of success again but yeah :)

Eternal Sunshine doesn't deserve aoty nomination. I love this album but it definitely isn't as good as her previous albums, the weakest tbh. Even if it were to get nominated I don't see it winning. The way everyone forgot about the album ever since other albums like Brat, Short n Sweet and Hit Me Hard And Soft released, shows that the Eternal Sunshine didn't quite leave a cultural impact on society. Like Brat, people followed the "Brat Summer" trend, for Short n Sweet, people streamed those songs so much that multiple of them were in the top 10 on Billboard at one point. Hit Me Hard And Soft gave people what they wanted out of Billie. I don't like comparing albums when it comes to their popularity especially when talking about aoty but if I'm being honest, Eternal Sunshine never got to see the same praise as other albums that were nominated did.
