The Grand Canyon's Hidden Lodge | Bright Angel Trail | South Kaibab | Phantom Ranch

During our adventures through Arizona, we ventured under the south rim to the Grand Canyon's Hidden Lodge, the Phantom Ranch. The Phantom Ranch is the best way to spend a night in the Grand Canyon. We hiked seven miles down the South Kaibab Trail, then we crossed the Colorado River, and spent a night at the Phantom Ranch. We ate the famous Hiker's Beef Stew, then got a good night sleep. We loved our first trip to Arizona's Best National Park. The next morning we ate a big breakfast and started hiking the iconic Bright Angel Trail. We crossed the Colorado again and worked our way toward the top.

I noted that going back up on the South Kaibab trail has less elevation gain than going up via Bright Angel. Just sharing. Thanks for this video. I am hoping to do this adventure to Phantom Ranch one day!

Thanks for watching! South Kaibab is very steep, and there is no water access. Bright Angel has water spigots and a smaller grade on the way out. We liked having water access!

Nice video brah, but do you know how can you tell a city boy from a country boy? A city boy will let a squirrel sit in his lap! They carry typhus and bubonic plague and can bite you know. LOL
