Joe's contribution to expanding and evolving the stock HM2 sound in itself is applaudable, as is Jerome's and other builders. We're here because we all love the chainsaw, but personalizing the tone and getting it to work for you without just literally sounding like Dismember is another matter. I've found a cheap $25 compressor useful.

You've succeeded. Personally I feel dark recollections tone is even better than like an everflowing, but perhaps because - and I'm not sure - but they tuned lower than dismember? The higher the pitch from B to my ears doesn't sound as full if this makes sense​@@VoidManufacturing

@@mikerauter1859 Dismember tunes to C, OR as Fred told me "h" , which is a type of B tuning. Their best sounding album is Death Metal. Thats the benchmark for me.

h is exactly the same as b, at least in German speaking countries (and probably scandinavia). It's a very funny story on why that is but too long for a YT comment. B flat is called B in Germany btw for total confusion.

@@DomeNightbearer g4 is different. The guitarist of a band I know plays fortin 33 in Revv g4, until I recognized his setup, I was sure that he plays something hm-2ish

From what little info exists-it seems there are 15 joe numbered ones and 22 total (7 post joe stickered serials). However there is one on reverb numbered 412 ( 12th lhp) so unless jack says something I guess the story will remain an enigma.

LHP Build run history - there were 38. the initial 10 + 3 prototypes, Made in March 2013 , which I hand numbered, then 15 more in August after we switched enclosure shops from pedal parts plus to a local printer , and additional 10 after I left, which no longer exist due to being built entirely wrong. The serial numbering of the ED pedals was not # x ##, It was consecutive through pedals made. So that 412, is the 412th pedal off the line, not the 12th LHP. Much like Terrys was the 406th pedal, not the 6th LHP. The LHP was the 7th ED pedal also, not the 4th. Order of release was 1-2-3-4, ATX/PDX/SCUD/BSO, Then 5-6, JINN/FOAD, then 7, LHP. The first 10 are hand numbered internally. I removed a majority of them from circulation, in trade for early Left Hand Wraths as that was what I wanted out there to begin with design wise, and the 10 I didnt want out there at all which were built incorrectly. A majority were disposed of as the split was less than amicable at the time, We have since mended that split as it was nothing to do with either of us and there is a mutual respect there and I support him and the mastering business, as does he for my pedals. I left very few remaining in the hands of people I deemed were using them to record. My friend Jim, who passed away owned this one I got for Dome. Ryan Bram, who records Gatecreepers albums, owns one. Leon, ex NAILS lead guitar player owned one and sold it not long ago to fund his studio. Kurt Ballou owns one. I gave one to a friend for helping out when my dog had cancer, and I sold 000 to a friend. I own 2 currently. 000.2 and 000.666 , which is the LHW spec prototype. Also, That # 412 , was an ex rental unit from rock n roll rentals and has the number crudely scrawled into the bottom lid. That used to be owned by my friend Paul, of Gremlin / Barbarian pedals. Theres the history of the pedal.

@@sinistrousdiabolus the entirety of what I said is, the details in a linear fashion, and relevant/ information people would be interested in. That listing you shared and the convo with me in it, is me not personally considering those 10 after I left valid builds, and taking the 3 protos off, while owning 3 of the first 10 myself at that time of the hand numbered 10, so, 22 were in circulation. I am working on a full history of the LHP through the LHW and Deluxe write up so I went back through all ordering history/design notes. The LHP as 6 knobs isnt the original idea either. It was envisioned as a dual pedal from the start but split into its own singular pedal later.
