Hey everyone! Wanted to clarify a few things about my latest Graphics Pack Load Order. I did this a while back on another load order and while it did pretty well on the channel, I thought it was a bit dull, lol. I wanted this video to be packed with info. and shorter. You know I saw that when I was looking for the Gritty Animations mod I ended up going with. Looks cool. I wonder if I could install it without issues on this one because it does mention that XPMSSE skeleton mod is a requirement. I took my version out since Just Shields comes with one.

@@Matt_the_TechRanger yeah I was looking over your spread sheet and downloading mods from my previous load order and I figured it would work because l’ve used gritty animations and GDB, both seem to have the same compatibility with XPMSEE (just shields’s version seems to work fine). If I read the description correctly GDB has gritty animations in it as well so i just replaced it.

🙏 I’m not too familiar with that one but did see it was a work-in progress mod. Not sure if it still is or if the description wasn’t updated yet. Personally, I’d stay away until it’s updated. Quest/overhaul stuff usually goes higher in my lists depending on what the description says.

coming back to skyrim since the mod menu update. I apologize if this is a dumb question, but why does my load order not stay after i leave the menu and go back in ? I spent over an hour DL and moving mods around to just have them get completely jumbled up and out of the order i put them in. What am i missing here? it never used to do this with the old interface.

I think it has something to do with the connection from your console to Bethesda's new server for the Creations menu. Like things don't update in real-time or there is a lag. I would recommend moving a mod or two, backing out to main menu so the list reloads, and going back in to check. It's worked for me so far.

Thank you! It's hard for me to do mod list reviews but if you have questions, feel free to holler! The main thing to keep in mind is to pick out what you like and read mod descriptions. From there you can figure out what mods can work with others. Some of it is trial and error but I think if you can get things in a solid state before you start that new game then you're in good shape.

Thanks for the reply. The main reason I'm confused about is where to try slot some mods into the LO example sheet that you posted. I have my own mods (around 20) that I want to use, alongside yours. Some are easy to understand where they go, but others are tricky. I'm still new to modding Skyrim.

@@AuroraReid-gi3dw Of course! Another good rule of thumb is mods that do the same thing generally will not work with the other. For example, you wouldn't want to have two landscape texture mods or two mods that modify the same thing. There are some exceptions (I'm surprised my character/NPC mods all work together) and that's when it comes to trial and error.

Im curious if MBE prevents skating during combat. I guess it says it does but in my experience in the past it doesnt. I resorted to using "a movement and combat overhaul" specially because of how it grounds each attack, but sometimes it grinds me that the power attack animations for the enemies are timed incorrectly and the attacks usually land way before they should. My brain is already wired for it, but it is bs anyways.

Haven’t seen any skating yet. I was more into the fact that it gave a weight to your character so movement looked more natural (in video game terms at least). I’m not the biggest fan of the Dodge mod being included but it is cool that NPCs can use it. It does seem like the frequency option might be tuned too high though. They dodge/sidestep a lot 😂

Thanks! I believe that one is the Stormcloak armor from the Realistic Armor Overhaul. It’s a NordWar armor so there might be some bundles with this as well. LoveKing has some with NordWar stuff.

Hello Matt, I have an important question.. When I download My Load Order, is it possible to download them all at the same time, then exit the game and restart it? Or should I download only one mod, then exit the game and return to it and download the other mod? Please answer me, Matt ❤

If you have a lot of mods (like 60+) then doing 10-15, backing out to the main menu, and then jumping back in might be best. Start from the top and don't download things that need to be rearranged after. That way, if something rearranges randomly then it's easy to fix. I think I mentioned that in the full LO video. I was able to do this one all in one sitting but I knew exactly what I wanted to install so that was helpful. I deleted this list a bunch so there was some trial and error.

What is the difference between all the graphics pack landscape and dungeons mods?

Different versions of the textures. Since the Graphics Pack is made up of textures from several mod authors. You can pick your flavor. The mod description for each will say whose textures it uses. Nexus links there too if you want to see some pictures.

🙏 I think you'd be okay to add the GDB animations one. I'm using Griity Animations in this one but the Enhanced movement mod should work with any animations. Not sure about the Combat one that adds the sparks. You might have given me a video idea.

Hey Matt! I see you have realistic armor but is there a mod that covers weapons too?

Divergence is a great option for that. In this case, I just really wanted to replace the guard armors and liked those Nord War armors. I was going to use Old Kingdom Weapons but then I noticed I had enough space for Divergence so I wanted to see if they worked together. So far so good!

No I use Nordic UI which requires it. Some UI mods need it to work with the new update. That and I use the SWF version of Realistic Armor Overhaul. There is a non SWF version of Realistic Armor Overhaul, though.

The shields dont go on back, may it be divergence conflict with realistic armors swf?

Shouldn’t as long as SWF is above it. Just Shields has its own skeleton mod included so if you have one of those, like XP32/XPMSSE, then that might keep it from working. If you don’t have all of the Anniversary Edition/Creation Club content installed then I would probably recommend just using vanilla Divergence (if you want it at all).

@@Matt_the_TechRanger Thanks bro, im still having problembtho I cleaned the mod space and reseted, tried a LO with just USSEP, SWF, Just Shields Realistic Equipment and Realistic Armor Overhaul (SWF edition), the shields got to back but the guards appear with their vanilla Shields

About the same. All mods are made for Xbox One but mileage can vary. You can try using an Uncap FPS mod if you wanted to try and hit 60fps. I used that when I had the One X. It would chug at times in grassy/forest areas. On the Series consoles, it should be a native 60 if you end up graduating to that.

Hey nice load order for xbox, it's always a pleasure; i have a problem with quest mods on my lo wich is really simple i have just added the quest (not everything at the same time of course), the cretion club content and nothing else, so there is a big lag before every new voiced npc talk that is really frustrating it goes away after 2 to 5 minutes in game but come back often, i have tested a lot of them so here are the quest mods where i find this problem: - Bruma (both version), i thought the problem was that it is a big big expansion (but no) - Wyrmstooth, far less bigger and there is the lag - Saint and Seducer extended cut - Legacy of the dragonborn - Interestings npcs - The brotherhood of old If anyone have a solution i take it else just bringing some informations. Here are the mods that do not have this problem: - Project AHO, works perfectly - Carved Brinks - The Forgotten city - Meridia's order, not fully tested but it works fine

Could be lag introduced from having a lot of extra quest mods since you have some bigger ones. Namely Bruma. There can be a slight delay sometimes when an NPC talks in this and Fallout 4 so maybe that can get worse if the game is trying to load a lot of lines not native to the game. When you said you have both versions of that, did you try to install both the 4-part version and the 6-part?

@@bertrandflantier3837 oh gotcha. Not too sure to be honest. I’ve had times where it’s lagged for a few seconds but not minutes. Might be worth a Google Search to see what you can find. I’d imagine the majority of results would probably be for PC.

I’m still undecided. I’m loving playing through the game with these but I’m always going to love Skyland. It just works so well altogether with how everything blends. I haven’t tried Fantasia landscapes yet though, which is the newest texture mod for the creator of Skyland.

I'm not sure either 🤣 Could be for a lot of reasons. Check for mod conflicts. There's a lot of mods for Skyrim that may not play well with others. Open Cities is a big one.

Those mods don’t depend on another 👍Mods like that are just additive. These are just lists that I make to give ideas and show how cool to you can make your game. I never want to tell anyone how to play.

I'm definitely still gonna use the list you have cuz it's superior to anything I've seen on KZbin for Xbox sx. I've been trying to mod my skyrim for a week now and just keep getting frustrated

@@clutchxcai 👍 the SkyRad camera pack includes FOV options so if you wanted a wider field of view in first person, I’d always recommend that. Only other one really is Movement & Behaviors which, if you don’t really want to roll or sidestep then that can go. It is a bit awkward in first person. Gritty Animations can be good to keep if you want to see some of that during kill moves but you could probably chuck that to. And thanks for that 🙏 Glad people like it and are finding some cool mods.

It's a lot for sure but with the other GP packs now, it's more than a SMIM. If you're just after textures though, there are a lot of options. Looking forward to trying Fantasia next.
