have a wee bit of news for ya, that isn't how the "family tree" works... a fifth cousin is a sibling of your great-great-great-grandparents.. the "number" used before "cousin" is the number of generations you are from a common ancestor.. perhaps you just misexplained the relationship?
@niketv28472 жыл бұрын
@@johnjerman3421 so, how did she “misexplain” it? If she considered her grandmother her mom, and MJ was her grandmother’s third Cousin (presumably because her grandmother’s grandmother; I.e. her mothers great-great grandmother was MJ’s 1st cousin) then the math is correct. What are we missing? 🧐
@maddogmadison21882 жыл бұрын

I just came across this and immediately clicked on it..This is POSITIVE AND BEAUTIFUL!! I HAD ALWAYS WONDERED WHO IS THE QUEEN OF GOSPEL.. The work you do is beautiful! I am from Arizona and had no idea until a year ago that Phoenix had its own Chitlin Circuit and it's own thriving Blues and Jazz music scene that was wiped out by urban development.. I would love to include this woman in my American musical studies and if she has surviving relatives I would love to interview them at some point! Thank you so much for the work that you do! Cultural heritage preservation work is NOT EASY and Freedmen, we are that one cultural group that has been so tough to keep reliable records for! Protection of the music and our other contributions has been difficult and unfortunately corrupted. She was so well dressed and talented! Sadly she is not talked about here in the Pacific Southwest or on my coast!

Lamont....As you would do Faces In Death videos, @3:01, I noticed the crypt of Justin Wayne Weatherspoon Jr as he died aged 19 and was curious to know how he died. Upon Googling his name, he tragically was a victim of gun violence. The young man had hardly lived as I noticed that a number of people died young in this video, which always makes me grateful for the one true blessing of life that I absolutely treasure. As for the legendary lady Mahalia Jackson, I wish I could have met her to hear what she went through during her early years and how she inspired many a gospel singer.
