Hey Nonnie 👋 I was so happy to learn about Nancy. I really enjoyed our time visiting the graves. I was so impressed I kept saying it, and Greyson had to take over recording, lol. That's why, in some scenes, the sound is off. It was our first time walking through. It's a beautiful place. Thank you for watching. 🤗💯

Drove by there many times but never stopped then they built the bypass that went completely around it I never knew how beautiful it is

We have driven past it more times than we can count and never took the time to stop either. I was pleasantly impressed. That was my first time going up to it as well. Greyson had to take the camera from me because I kept saying how nice it was, lol. That's why, in some parts of the video, you don't hear the bug sounds. Thank you for watching. 💯🤗

What a lovely place! Wow, It's so well kept as well. It's so lovely to see. I loved the information boards as well. I would not mind being buried here myself actually.

I wonder has she any living decendents..that place she is buried at looks real nice...since she married a white man I wonder how they got along with each other and their families
@beanstaters3165 ай бұрын
Yes, her burial grounds are amazing. The whole place was preserved in her memory. She was a peacemaker amongst her tribe and stopped the killing of innocent European American people. I would love to know how her family felt about her marriage to him and how his felt about the marriage to her. They both probably didn't care what anyone thought. I know she had two kids from her first marriage to Kingfisher and a couple more from the European American man. Great questions. I will have to research more. 🤗💯

This place looks so peaceful it looked more like a park than a 🪦 and I saw the boatramp...Where is her husband buried at and that was a great story almost like Pocahantas or Sacajgawea and she only had one son...what a remarkable woman
