Well, he had no choice. Story mode is basically an autoplay, so it only presents/examines pieces of evidence that will make the story progress. I must say, though, you've piqued my curiosity now. Has someone uploaded a video that shows his reaction? I really want to see it.

Quite the crime scene, including reaction to the rope & blood. What a talk w/Stronghart, with his thoughts on the situation. Also, Kazuma's wanting to see Ryu there. Good stuff w/Barok, being reminded of how it was before he became bitter and mistrustful. I liked his thoughts on Kazuma coming for him, & respect for Ryu.
