The Great American Road Trip - Bannack Ghost Town (Part Two)

Part two of the Great American Road Trip was spent adventuring to the different ghost towns in Montana. We woke up in Bozeman and headed out the door for our first stop at Virginia City. This place was an epic relic of the past full of preserved artifacts and museum exhibits to explore. After lunch (and ice cream of course), we were off to the next ghost town which was just down the road, Nevada City. This is a collection of abandoned buildings from all over Montana from the gold rush area brought here to be made into one large living museum. For the rest of the afternoon we were off to Bannack State Park for some more ghost town exploring. We spent the night camping in Bannack next to the creek before heading off to the next adventure.
