Two Rivers, One Weekend. Pere Marquette River, Michigan (Part One)

We got to float two rivers in one weekend on this epic adventure. This video will show our time on the first of these rivers, the Pere Marquette. The Pere Marquette was a gorgeous float checking off every box for what make a river great: lots of space, nature, moderate flows, perfect width, and no obstructions. We started at the M37 Landing in Baldwin, MI and floated to Sulak campground for an overnight stay. Day two was spent floating from Sulak to Walhalla Landing in Branch Township, MI.

Do you guys live in Michigan and if so when will you be in Muskegon again?

We don’t make it to Muskegon enough! We always talk about kayaking the river right into the big lake though.. maybe next summer!!
